Good food. Very good price. But they seemed overwhelmed with catering orders. Limited choices of we wanted something quick.
Had a wonderful experience eating at Punjabi Dhaba. The staff is so sweet and nice. They serve complementary chaas (Indian buttermilk) and it's absolutely delicious. We had samosas, special Thali and onion paratha. The food was fresh, sumptuous and tasted like an authentic Indian home cooked meal and not like that of a restaurant (I mean this in the most complimentary way, iykyk). Also, the hospitality we received here felt like home. They also have a variety of freshly prepared indian sweets and snacks to purchase.
Vegetarian food. Not geared to serve food in the restaurant but specialty is take out. But good quality food. Good portion. Reasonably priced. Ambiance is ZERO. Table service is virtually on the scale of 0 to 10 it's 3. But food is good. Will continue to go and prefer to take out rather than sit and eat there.
It was really nice of you to accept our last minute to-go order. We picked up the order. The palak paneer was good & the quantity was great , however chili paneer was okay even though it’s quantity was great too. Loved the tawa roti . It had a pinch of makka in it, which makes it so tasty and healthy…The three items were at a reasonable price ( less than $40). Do recommend ??
The food at Punjabi Dhaba is absolutely delicious. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I recommend everyone to try this place out. I’ve tried their Thalis, paranthas and Chole bhatture. So delicious!!! The staff is also so nice and jolly. My favorite restaurant in Hicksville. It’s as if you’re eating authentic Indian food in India.
The food is amazing. They serve buttermilk(lassi) instead of water which in unique. We received the food on right time. Restaurant ambiance is so quiet and enjoyable.
Best Dhaba style chole bhature in town !!! ???
It’s a place that gives off a warm atmosphere. It feels personal and the staff is welcoming and kind. The food is yummy and the sweets more so!
FOOD WAS GREAT. THE OWNER IS AWESOME SARDARJI. THE REASON WHY I AM LEAVING 1 STAR IS BECAUSE WHILE I WAS HAVING MY DINNER WITH MY FRIENDS AND FOOD WAS ON TABLE THIS WORKER CAME AND TOOK EVERYTHING OUT FROM THE TABLE, FELT HORRIBLE. THE SWEET OWNER SIMPLY SAID JUST BECAUSE WE ARE CLOSING THE STORE THE WORKER WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAKE EVERYTHING FROM THE TABLE. JUST TO MENTION, ONE SHOULD HAVE A DECENCY TO INFORM THE PATRONS ABOUT THE CLOSING OF THE RESTAURANT RATHER THAN SIMPLY INSTRUCTING THE WORKER TO TAKE FOOD FROM THE TABLE WHICH WAS UNFINISHED AND WE WERE STILL EATING. I FELT HORRIBLE YET I DID MY PART AND WITH DECENCY I PAID THEM FOR THE UNFINISHED FOOD. WHEN I HAD A CHANCE TO SPEAKE TO THE OWNER HE DID NOT FEEL BAD ABOUT THE SITUATION ANYWAYS I WAS EXPECTING THAT HE WOULD FEEL SORRY BUT I FEEL HE DID NOT CARE MUCH. MY EXPERIENCE FROM HAVING A FOOD AND HAVING A NICE TIME CHANGED TO LEAVING A FOOD UNFINISHED WAS SOUR.
We are becoming regular customers here . Really nice food with the right blend of oil and spices! Friendly service ! Recommend to all real Indian food lovers ….
