My husband orders from this place very often because their food is absolutely delicious! However, they need better staff. The staff can be rude so I hope the manager gets a better group of staff.
Food is great. The atmosphere is great! My family is hooked to their roast chicken.
Our first visit to Peri Peri Guys had us try their wings, burger, tenders, fries and corn. The grilled wings had a lightly-smoked flavor, available with a few sauce choices. The popular Lemon & Herb had an accurate flavor profile, the Mango & Lime was more synthetic and confusing, the Mild had that classic Peri Peri taste, the Hot had the best flavor of them all with a spice kick, and the Very Hot was very close to Desi achar. Amongst the burgers, the Mountain featured naturally-tasty beef with a soft brioche and sauce that we all enjoyed. Fries were crispy, corn on the cob was fresh and the tenders were the only breaded item so they were delicious. Hafeez, the owner, was receptive to feedback (and even shared he wasn't a big fan of his Mango & Lime sauce either) and Jaz took good care of us. We enjoyed our time at Peri Peri Guys and look forward to seeing what new and exciting items they'll offer.
Excellent food and customer service. The owner will solve all your problems with his utmost hospitality and respect. Treats you like family. All the employees do. Fries were probably the best I’ve ever ha. Perri Fries. Seasoned extremely well, crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside. Grass fed beef patties won’t disappoint. Give em a try.
This place is amazing. My friend found out about this place thru his other friends since it’s was new in town and sounded really good. We tried it one night after we couldn’t decide where to good. We were so right to come here. We ordered the chicken butterfly HOT and VERY HOT level (we love spicy food) and not only it was *actually* very spicy but the flavors immaculate. Their chicken is NEVER dry either, it’s very well moist on the inside. I recommend getting Peri Rice or Mac n Cheese because they’re both very well seasoned. We were both very impressed with how flavorful and seasoned this food is for a cheap-fast food price !! This restaurant is perfect after a night out and you’re STARVING. You won’t regret it

Lord forgive me as I have to throw this food in the trash. Paid gas and toll to drive to LI for 2 whole chickens with 4 sides. Checked the order before leaving as inflation is hitting my pockets hard. Got home super excited as one of my buddies praised the hell out of this place in our Whatsapp group saying even the chickens performs ballerina routine on the plate before you eat them. As I opened the boxes…..my head almost hit the dining table. The chicken looked like it wasn’t even seasoned. I had ordered 1 mild and 1 hot and sauce was nowhere to be seen on the chicken. Instead we were given 5 sauce dips, 2 hot, 2Mild and 1 mango habanero for TWO WHOLE CHICKENS! I have had Peri Peri all over US from Cali to Chicago to NJ and even Brooklyn NY. This had to be the worst experience ever. If I could, I would rewind time and take a dip in the cold water of Jones Beach rather than eat this chicken.
Ventured out to Hicksville and found this gem!Very flavorful and juicy chicken! Tried The KING burger and it was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The wings were very succulent and had an appropriate amount of sauce. The sauces aren't too spicy so I would recommend trying a sauce one level up on the scale. Onion rings were crunchy and had a good crunch to them. Mac and cheese could use a little salt but was still top-tier. Overall, I would definitely recommend this establishment for some quick, quality eats!
My o my, what can I say. Came with a family of 4 and ordered “ Squad of 4” and was blown away by how great the food was. The owner greeted our table and was full of energy. He explained his journey to the industry and what he has been doing to better the restaurant for his customers. Such a great encounter from an owner. I swore I would never pay for any other peri peri In NY unless it was from him. It would be an insult to my peri peri tastebuds because this brother and his staff know how to throw down on a grill!
One of the best places for a chicken dinner.Awesome owner and amazing food. The sauce is just on point with its spice levels. Their very hot is not only spicy but, it has a lot of flavors to it. Their fries and very hot sauce is just a delicious combo.Definitely recommended.
