Sicilian pizza is very good it mimics the original Umberto's that used to be there. It's a good thing the owners of this place worked for Umberto's.

We wanted to have a holiday party at work and because of Covid we ordered all separate meals from MamaVenezia each bagged separately. We picked the meals up, most meals selected by workers were chicken Verdi, chicken Parm. They also gave us more than abundant bags of focaccia bread. They were timely. The food was Hot and Delicious. Portions were great. I was impressed. The staff made compliments. Even though these are difficult times, they made a group of hard working people very happy. Thank You MamaVenezia in Hicksville, NY.
The food tasted pretty good, but it wasn't wrapped well and the gravy leaked all over the bag--luckily not in the car!

Great Pizza!!! Garlicky garlic knots and they will even go out of their way to make your pizza just the way you like it. Great Family owned business.
I usually never have an issue with this pizzeria with my pickup orders but today I got it delivered through the "slice" app. I ordered a pie, wings and a specialty egg plant slice. First off all my wings were drum sticks and when I called, the girl that answered sounded annoyed that I was complaining about it. She Just gave me an "I don't care attitude". I usually get half drumsticks half wings. Kool. I was upset and didn't get to the issue with my specialty slice. It tasted bland and it looked like they just slapped raw ricotta on it after baking it. This was my first time getting an eggplant slice from this pizzeria and never again. Other places actually bake the eggplant and ricotta into the slice not slap it on the top. I added salt pepper and garlic powder after taking the pic. I think I will continue to order from Mario's for now on. I only order from here because it's so close to home.FYI : have the girl that answers the phone and take orders take phone etiquette classes.
