We did not receive the Macaroni and Cheese we were charged for. The Yams were not seasoned properly. Oy yes the Turkey Wings and Potatoe Salad was slamming
They didn't get the order right and when I called to let them know they forgot my potato salad, instead of saying we will bring it to you, mind you I'm on n Franklin and they're on S Franklin. The other person I ordered food with didn't even get the oxtail sauce on their chicken. Poor customer service.
The portions are nice you do get your money worth,BUT the cabbage was over cooked and salty, the Mac and cheese had a sweetish taste. The potato salad was good and the turkey Wings very tender. I would go again and share with them my input.
online order was prepared in a timely fashion food was excellent turkey wings pork chops candied yams collard greens had me greasing back like i was in south carolina. only negative was mac and cheese we all have our partiality to moms mac and cheese and everybodies tastes are different lets just say won't be ordering it again but will definitely be back for everything else. Thanks long island soulfood spot will definitely be back to do some more greasing back!!!!:)
Fast and quick service.. Macaroni and cheese tastes sweet, bland, and dry. Whiting is ok but needs some seasoning and needs a little trimming to remove excess bones. Baked ziti is ok but a bit dry and needs more sauce.
It was delicious, only thing I would change is how sweet the Mac and cheese is.
Oxtail and collard green. We had a side of macaroni and cheese as well. That taste little sweet for us.
THEY REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY THEY BAKE MACORONI& CHEESE. THE PORTIONS ARE GREAT. RIBS HAD THE MEMBRANE ON THE BACK STILL ATTACHED GREAT FLAVOR BUT THE FAT HAD TO GO. FRIED CHICKEN IS GOOD TURKEY WINGS ARE GOOD. COLARD GREENS ARE MY FAVORITE.
Food is great and you can get 2 servings per portions!!!
Baked chicken & turkey wings were good but Mac & Cheese horrible/dry. Collard greens were gritty. Not washed properly. Won't be going back any time soon.
