This place is a joke You place an order and when you get your order you get something else,and when you call them they give you a lot of excuses. Don' order food from this place cause you will get something else. They charged you for the food you order but you won't get what you want.
Great service, great food, and they have been around forever. They have staying power, they are great people!
My husband went to this store and tried to purchase something that costs $1. They told him that there was nothing on his card even though there definitely was. Even though he did not leave with the item, they took $5.75 for no reason. Do not go here! They are scamming people and lying about it.Edit; thank you for resolving the issue and giving him a refund

UPDATE: I gave another honest chance & no improvement. A simple bacon egg & cheese is way too expensive here to just barely be subpar. Sandwich is skimp, bacon is fatty & soft. No matter if you ask for it to be crispy, extra crispy or well done. You not getting that here.I also asked for a small meat selection from the hot food available. The woman kept piling up the tray not even paying attention to me telling her that’s enough 4 times. This is priced by weight it seems, so when it got rung up & saw the price, I had to kindly asked for that to be put back.I’m good on this place honestly.Original Review: The fall off is sad. This used to be the spot. If you like to call in your order & still have to wait at least 10 mins. & have that same order you called in that you waited on messed up. To have to go back & wait once again than you’ll love it here. The price for the hot food always seem to be different depending on the time of day as well as the portions. I forgot to mention the wait to even place your order, when you don’t call ahead. You’ll see 5 people at the grill all working on one order. So much staff back there but it’s still so slow. I grew up with this place & that was probably my last time going.
Great neighborhood Bodega, wide variety of food. Including sandwiches, tacos, comfort foods, fruits, vegetables, patties and much much more. Friendly cook and counter staff. I've been going here for years and it only gets better.
Expensive spot, only place open late I guess that’s why they take advantage. Manhattan prices for at best decent tasting food. 41 bucks for 2 plates and a sandwich and drink……
