Wife and I went here for Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu so we can’t comment on the regular menu. Some of the reviews note the dish size being small but ours were plenty. That goes for the appetizer, both main courses and the dessert. Everything is also gluten free in addition to having amazing vegan options. Service was excellent and everything was prepared like a work of art. It wasn’t busy as we had the first seating when it opened so the food also came out quickly. We can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food and cocktails in a chill atmosphere with excellent service, and everything is gluten free. Definitely our favorite local spot! Love having it to ourselves in the winter, but can't wait to see the place fill up in the summertime with their covered patio seating right on the lake shore!
So my husband and I have been to Lago 210 a handful of times and it always exceeds our expectations as far as the deliciousness of their gluten free dishes, no dry and crumbly mess served here. They just launched Lago2Go, and we have ordered twice now. This time we ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich and it is seriously amazing. The waffle is sweet without being overbearing and the chicken has a slight kick to it. Perfect balance between sweet and spicy. Lago has certainly mastered the art of making gluten free food that tastes exactly like non gluten free food. The risotto, pork sliders and truffle fries are also amazing. Hoping they offer the brown butter pistachio cake for dessert again soon!
Our waiter so helpful and nice which went a long way. The sunset here is unreal but the lighting for the outdoor tables needs to be improved-it gets so dark! Our drinks were great and the food was good. Can't wait to come back next season!
A bit of a limited menu this night. They like many Foodservice locations are struggling to find staff. It was a beautiful night and we still enjoyed our time out. The food was good and so were the drinks. They also had live music that night.
Enjoyed a nice brunch on the patio, great view and ambience outside. Service was friendly and helpful. Many gluten free options which is a very exciting find for brunch! Tried the biscuits and gravy which were well seasoned and the poached egg was cooked perfectly. The chicken and waffles were very good with a nice selection of dipping sauces. The waffles were sweet but not overpowering, the chicken was tender and flaky. Heads up, the waffles are not gluten free but the chicken is. On the negative side, there was a small hair in the meal. And if sitting outside be prepared for some bees and flies. Overall, a pleasant dining experience and I will be back again!
Gorgeous view! I enjoyed a lovely meal last night with some girlfriends. My first time at Lago and I’ll definitely come back.Menus are on QR code’s. Plenty of great wine, beer and cocktail choices. The food is presented as small plates and is great for sharing with friends. I chose the coconut scallop special with cheesy grits, fresh blackberries and pesto. It was pretty good. The sweetness of the coconut was a nice accent to the scallops and the blackberries were fresh and added a nice pop to the meal. The grits were cooked well and weren’t overly cheesy so they didn’t clash or overpower the rest of the meal. The scallops were cooked pretty well they could have used a little more of a sear on the outside. My only comment here is that it was $28 for this plate and I’d consider it a large snack. I’m not one to complain about price or portion if it’s quality. But this is a higher end restaurant price for a major city, not what you usually see in Buffalo. For that price I’d like a meal that fills me up. There were 3 decent sized scallops on the plate and not a lot of grits. I think extra grits and a veggie of some sort would make this more into a $28 dish.Good service. They were helpful and not at all pushy. If they weren’t sure about something they were happy to find out and get back to you quickly. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor seating is superb for the view. They need to walk around their outside patio and fill in the holes in the concrete. Some chairs cannot sit even on the ground because of the divots made in the concrete. There are also fire pits available for rent for a group beach fire experience.Bonus. Their entire menu is gluten free or can be easily adjusted to meet this dietary requirement.
Went here after a Bills preseason game (its on the water, on the way back to the city and a 10 minute drive from the stadium so thru don't get absolutely packed after the game) and it could not have went better. The drinks were great, and the menu was... what's a good word...inclusive? Obviously there are a lot of fish and seafood options, but the variety of BBQ, salad and slider options means that almost any palate would be satisfied.Accompanying this review is a special entree, the Cajun cod (that also satisfied as a spicy entree) was well plated, with flavors that really meshed. Finally, the service was excellent, multiple people stopped at the table offering refills, napkins, etc. Plates were quickly and quietly cleared. A+ I'll be back.
Went for brunch one Sunday and sat by the lake. The meal was amazing, and drinks were a great size. Service was a little slow but they were kind and apologetic. We will definitely be going back!
Great place on the lake! Cool drinks, innovative menu options. The one thing that brings this from a 5 to a 4 star for me is portion size. The prices are a little high for the amount of food that you get. If the entrees came with a side, I could see the prices being a little more justified, but nevertheless at least a good place for drinks
