The staff was super friendly! Great location and wonderful food! Definitely a must to go again! And the prices were amazing inexpensive, which was refreshing in this day and age.
This was my first time at this restaurant. Excellent food and quaint,friendly atmosphere. I had Texas hots with a small order of fries and a order of onion rings. Unique tasting Texas hot, I'm not sure what it was (maybe hickory taste) still very good. I thought the small fry would be smaller so I also ordered onion rings. I was wrong, small fries are definitely shareable. Fryer oil was very minimal and you could tell it was clean. I will most definitely be returning numerous times.
Great start to spring and summer. Always good food, kids have two play grounds for all ages. Always a good time for all!
I loved the kids play area! My kids loved the chicken strip meal that was made of actual white chicken meat!

The food is delicious but that yellow slide is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I went down the slide with my daughter and we both went face first into the stepping stones right there in the grass. You're lucky we didn't knock any teeth out but I did get some nasty scrapes on my arms, knees, and elbows. My one year old daughter has a huge bruise and abrasion on her shoulder.
Of all the hot dog stands in all the towns in all the world, I walk into George's. And man am I glad I did. Staff was courteous and smiling which always makes for a good interaction. Sometimes you just need a dog and fries to take you back to the good old days when you didn't have a care in the world. Perfectly done for a great afternoon. Thanks
I would probably go 3.5 stars but I will round up for a southtowns based bonus. I went for the Ten Lives Club fundraiser event 8/10 where proceeds of hot dogs went to. I asked a few people if it was always as busy as it was regardless of the event and they said yes. I found the wait time and service to be too long. It took a good half hour from pulling in to getting the food. That said the staff were very friendly and provided a good atmosphere. The portion of fries for a small curly were very generous and fresh. I would of liked even a small amount of salt to of been used as I skipped salting mine due to the crowds around the condiment self serve station. The hot dogs were cooked just right and tasted great. I found the prices to be roughly 10% higher then a local competitor. Perhaps that is for the more scenic outdoor seating availability and limited seasonal operation span. Overall I found the food to meet expectations though not exceptional with too long of wait time at higher then average price for the product. If I am in the area or want a pleasant outdoor scene to talk to someone with while eating I would find it appealing but for me this type of food I am usually flying solo and value service time to get in and out.
Delicious fries!! Had a fried chicken sandwich and fries. Haven’t been there in a while and I’m glad we went. Great shakes too.
I don't know what happened to this place. Curly fries contained maybe 8 actual curls, and a ton of retained oil. Burger was eh. This used to be one of my favorite places but it changed.
