So far the best go to pizza in glen cove, did not disappoint both times I’ve ordered.
I'm rather surprised, I always recalled Vito’s with great fondness. The place to go for a slice and a coke. Perhaps certain locales are best experienced in person. Our delivery, sadly, was a lackluster experience. It lacked items, both a drink and the paid addition of broccoli to a chick-parm roll... Though perhaps most aggregious, was the astoundingly subpar combination of overcooked, yet cold, and overly greasy. The pizza all but oozes grease upon you, as if to resist your attempts at consumption... Fear not, its smell lingers on your skin long after. I'm not richer having experienced this meal, literally and metaphorically. The roll was a torturous affair, the litteral skin of my mouth ravaged by the hardened carapace of dough. Perhaps it was the artist's intention to serve it with overly watery sauce, so as to achieve some sort of unholy symbiosis of dough and sauce. Clearly, not a match made in heaven.
I wanted to thank Vito, Friday afternoon I ask him if he could provide 8 trays for a Saturday noon memorial service. He delivered the goods with 5 stars. Food was great. He came through last minute. Thank you
First time there, it was so crowded. There were like 8 staff members when I walked in. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes between ordering 4 slices and getting out of there. But it was worth the wait. Will be going back.
SO grossed out. Ordered a slice of pizza and saw the girl behind counter TOUCH the pizza with her own hands and place in the oven - NO gloves, NO utensils. I asked given COVID if this was normal procedure and she rudely said "my hands are clean." Not understanding how they allow that and absolutely don't want my food touched with someone who had her hands all over the counter, register etc. Walked out and never going back. For the record, she took the pizza out of the oven and put it BACK in the display.
Orderd pizza for the first time comming back from westchester 40min later got to the pizzaria to find out pizza wasnt ready. Waitied another 10min to get pizza but not the soup. Was so aggrivated i took my pizza w o the soup. When we got home noticed we didnt get the soda either and the pizza was terrible. Got carrots and unions on my chicken and vegie pizza. Never again!
Good taste, good food but they've been hiring guys that don't care about customers, they don't pay attention to what people order and sometimes messes up orders.
Always the best pizza in town and the delivery guys are always so friendly.
The product is fine. The Angry Grandma is unique & flavorful. However, service is terrible. We were promised delivery within 45 minutes and after 50 I called. I was told that the delivery person hadn’t come back yet. But there was no compassion or empathy. I picked it up myself. One would think that with all the competition in this town, some effort would be placed on customer service. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us from Vito’s. We are going elsewhere in the future.
I ordered Sausage pizza. He only put Sausage on the small part of the pizza. Also the Sausage is cut so thin you can barely taste it. Also the person Matthew food with no gloves on should not be the same perat the register
