First time I had bad service the waiter didn’t do his job correctly appetizer was slow and wrong I had to ask for the bread and take away our menus I’m very disappointed it’s my birthday & I was looking forward to a great dinner I guess that’s a ??????????
We had a large party that couldn't be seated together.. understandable since it was a Friday evening. We couldn't call in or make a reservation for more than 6 online. I just wish a restaurant that size had a few more seating arrangements for big families. Food was good and the freshly made, warm, chocolate chip pecan cookies were my favorite!

Went for a quick, unplanned birthday dinner, and was pleasantly surprised. First off, our fantastic server Noel was amazing! She let us know to order drinks because the bar was closing soon, etc. You could tell she had had a long day, but was still very gracious and constantly observant to our whole tables needs. Food was great as always.
I went to the Grand Lux Café in Garden City, NY with my daughter to meet with an old friend that I haven't seen in over a year. We ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip as an appetizer to share. This was the only thing we shared. Later in the evening, I experienced severe stomach pains and felt like I was going to throw up. Both my daughter and I had diarrhea and my friend who didn't eat as much dip as we did, experienced bad stomach pains too. I called the restaurant to let the manager on duty know what happened and to do my due diligence by possibly helping others. I was clear that I didn't want anything in return but just to alert the restaurant. The manager was completely in denial that we got sick from the dip and was dismissive of my concerns and started getting extremely loud. He didn't let me have a word in and was angrily speaking on top of me. I was shocked by the way he was speaking to me so harshly and he didn't care what I said. He bascially put the blame back on me saying people always call about this and he tells them to go back to what they ate earlier and said maybe you were allergic to something. As a manager of a restaurant, I expected better customer service. He by far was the worst I've ever encountered. Again I am not looking to getting anything in return but to share my experience with others. I really do hope corporate looks into the management and to hire compassionate managers who take customers seriously and don’t speak to them in a degrading manner. I will not be returning back to this restaurant.
I was there last Thursday. The food was really really special. I had salmon brown rice and vegetables. Our waiter was very pleasant and polite, he even had to ask the chef if my meal had anything to do with shellfish and nuts since I was allergic to it. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.
Fast seating after making reservations on Yelp. Food was fast and fresh but I felt they had limited vegetarian options. A few yes but would have liked to see some more. The crispy avocado won tons were amazing. Highly recommend.
This place is enchanting!The decor reminds me of Caesar’s Royal Palace. It’s also a staple in LI being here for years.The waiters are attentive, give great recommendations & kind. I love it here.The food comes out shortly, tastes fresh, & was memorable.When in Long Island NYC GO HERE!
First time here and it was simply amazing. Excellent service and great food. This will not be my last time here for sure.
This place was great for valentines. Almost no wait , we got seated in a bad place and the waitress kindly moved us . Our food was amazing, the service was very attentive . We had drinks they were good but a bit too much alcohol, which It's not my thing, but overall I would come back for any special ocation
