Great experience for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.
Horrible place. I went yesterday, May 29th, 2022. We had to wait 90 minutes because as our server said the kitchen keeps crashing. Crazy thing was it was not very busy. The food literally is the same as buying it frozen in the supermarket and heating it up. Literally. My wife got 2 of the most un tasty lobster tails for 65 dollars. Instead of having a small container of butter to dip the lobster in the gave us little packets of butter that would come with rolls. My fried scallops and shrimp were in my opinion from the supermarket. People were complaining about the wait time all over the place. This was a freaking nightmare. They have been there a long time so people would think they have to be good. NOT AT ALL. A SCAM. Expensive crap food!!! Don't go. I am a local, not a tourist. Go anywhere including McDonalds before you go here!!!

Great baked clams, calamari and chowder. Drinks are ice cold. Atmosphere is salty and authentic. One of my family's favorite spots to hit by boat or by land. Always nice servers.

Came here yesterday for some early dinner and it was my first time. I truly can say the service was immaculate and our waitress was so lovely. I wish I remembered her name but she was so kind and attentive and had such positive energy ! The food came out fairly quickly. I was very impressed by the baked clams. They have beaten any baked clam I’ve ever had! Also, the atmosphere was beautiful. Not too loud, fun music, great drinks and a nice view of the water. I got the Seafarar for my entree which was scallops, shrimp and salmon with a side and everything was so fresh and satisfied all of my seafood cravings! I love that it was simple with just some garlic and butter and a little seasoning. Everything was truly cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to come back !
I'll start with the horrible service. First we were ignored for about 20 mins after being seated and it was not overly busy which is a good thing for Otto's because service was horribly SLOW. We finally get a waiter and this guy is the worst waiter I've ever experienced. He took our drink order and disappeared for another 20 minutes. When he came back to take our order we put in the whole order because we didn't know if we'd see him again. Boy were we right with assuming that. He delivered our appetizer, when he did, I ordered another drink. A drink I never got. Our dinner was delivered and I ordered my drink again. Mind you it was just a soda. NOTHING!!! An EMPTY cup sat at the end of the table throughout half my appetizer and entire meal. We stacked up our garbage waited again to see him to ask for the check. That was another 20 min ordeal. We sat there and watched the other waiters working but not our waiter, he is the worst. He finally brings the check and has the audacity to say " he hopes it's ok that he added 18% gratuity to the bill". Which got a resounding NO!!! With a very quiet explanation. I told him we were 2 people not 8 or 10 or more and then of how invisible he was and how he did NOT take care of us at all. I should have complained to the manager but didn't. Now it's 4am and I'm on my 3rd trip to the bathroom. Needless to say the food was as bad as he was! So here's my review. At 48 years old this is my worst experience in a restaurant. To make matters worse, it was my birthday.
On vacation in New York…Sunday outing to the Nautical Mile….vegetable sushi for me, guacamole dip and sweet potato fries; other family members had calamari, surf and turf burger, fried shrimp, and a cod sandwich…fresh food, tasty, great upbeat customer service. The ambience and music (live vocalist) were the icing on the cake!
It was for the girlfriend's mother's 70th birthday. The service was grea, the food was good, and the people were awesome, many came by just to wish a happy birthday. There was a singer for the love music at the time we were there and it was nice cause she loves all the songs that were playing. If you are thinking about going, give it a shot you won't be disappointed.
