This is not your typical Diner. The outdoor patio is first class. Beautifully conceived and decorated with glass enclosures to insure low noise and no wind to disrupt your dining experience. From the Italian marble floors to the retractable roof the owner Billy Moustakas has attended to each detail with the same care and concern that he gives to the fine cusine. All the food is high quality. The salads are crispy, cold and fresh. On a recent visit, the stuffed lemon sole was right from the market and the crab meat stuffing was real lump crabmeat, not fake pressed "mystery crab". The dining experience is further enhanced by the warm friendly staff. By the time your meal is completed you feel that you have become a member of the family and cannot wait to make a return visit to this wonderful place.
We had a great experience here, my friends have been trying to visit this Diner for so long, we were fortunate to be hanging out together and finally decided to get some food there. Our experiences were remarkably great, the food was delicious beyond our expectations and the staff welcomed us with great smiles. Only dined here for breakfast only but the food is authentic for Dinner cuisine and they graciously accept your recommendations, meaning they cook it as you like it. The place is clean and the hostess is very pleasant. A little pricey for Diner food and location but, what isn't pricey these days????
I’ve been coming here for many years and ALWAYS had a great meal. And I mean ALWAYS! This time, not so much. I eat primarily vegan so when I come here I order pasta, red sauce with steamed veggies. Pretty simple. I’ve ordered this dish maybe 10 times over the years at the Imperial. This time, our waiter said the chef can’t make it. I asked why and he really didn’t have an answer. I didn’t want to give the guy hard time so I changed my order to their veggie burger (that was mushy and highly disappointing). I’m sure this was just an off night for them and i will go back!
Wow what a wonderful diner. Got a cheeseburger it was great. Too many long island diners don't care about the quality of what they serve, this place takes pride in everything. Ill be passing a half dozen diners to come back to my new favorite diner spot!
Great diner!!! I had the steak panini which was delicious, plentiful and the prices are great. Oh best potato salad we've ever had!

This is one of the best dinner I have ever been to!The food is very awesome! It’s like having freshly made home cook meals.Their portions is very huge and our server was so friendly. We told her it was our first time there and recommended amazing choices.Definitely will go there more often m! ??
In a world where there are a lot of diners to choose from, this one is a stand out. The food is hot and fresh. Everything is perfectly prepared. They even manage to get every french fry equally crispy. Unlike a lot of other diners they have a big menu but not a huge one. That means all the food here is actually fresh and what they have on hand. The problem with a lot of other diners is they claim to make 400 different items which means they’ve got 300 items sitting in their freezer. The wait staff are friendly and the food came out fast too.
