This is a great sushi restaurant in Bayside. Food is delicious and staff are fabulous. Came here with 3 younger family members. We enjoyed Kanu salad, lots of SHU Mai (the favorite), tempura shrimp, fried calamari, broccoli, and green tea ice cream. The kids don't eat rolls. I enjoyed 2 rolls which were fresh and delicious. It's pricey for all you can eat. Probably not worth it with the kids. Perhaps I should just order off the menu next time. There's a small parking lot and street parking. We ate outside which I prefer in COVID. Love the restaurant!
My first all you you can eat sushi experience. Definitely a great bang for your buck. It has lots of seating, both inside and out. The staff is very attentive, always making sure you have food on the table. Everything tasted very fresh and was well prepared. Make sure you finish all your food or you can expect a surcharge.
For the current price point, New Sushi Village offers one of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants in Queens, NY. The price has increased since the pandemic but it is good for the food it provides. They offer a variety of sushi, sashimi, and cooked options. Most of the time they are fresh and good tasting. The servers are very nice and they always pour tea or water for the customers. I would definitely recommend those who want their quick buffet sushi fix to come here. They have a parking lot but it gets busy on the weekends. They also provide non-buffet price options, but I always opt to go for the unlimited sushi and sashimi. In addition, they provide red bean/vanilla/green tea ice cream, oranges, and the Oreo tempuras which is a treat to go with the ice cream. This place is a great bang for your buck. Pictures are of the many visits I have had to Sushi Village.
So this place has been around. Went there often when I was dating my wife. Recently revisit after pandemic. I have to say, not bad. Food still tasty, portion is great. Selection is plenty , sushi is fresh , cook Japanese menu are also good. I actually enjoy the cook selection as much as the sushi. Will definitely go back more often
The best legitimate all you can eat sushi place around. Quality stays consistently excellent and you can simply order sashimi if you don't want to get full on rice. The quality and service is worth the price of admission.
3.5 stars. AYCE American style sushi. The salmon and eel sushi were good. My only complaint: too much rice. I've been to another AYCE sushi place called Akino, and they gave smaller portioned rice with a good amount of filling. I like New Sushi for their salmon and eel only; they tasted better than the ones in Akino. However, Akino's menu has an interesting variety that suits my taste more. If you like your sushi simple, New Sushi is good for you. I don't recommend anything else other than salmon and eel. I had the Butterfly roll and it was bad. All I tasted was rice, and flavor was not good. Also, at one point, one of our eel rolls didn't even have eel in it. Once again...it was just rice. I don't think I ate my money's worth. I got full really quickly b.c of the rice. Dessert was matcha ice cream. Wasn't the best matcha ice cream i had, but it is what it is. I definitely prefer AKINO over New Sushi.Customer service was good. We came to eat after lunch time, so the ladies who served us were very attentive.
Being a sushi lover, I can’t believe that I never tried a all you can eat sushi place before. It was a great experience and totally worth it. Their Sunday prices are about $34 per person, which seems pretty reasonable. They have a huge sitting space and always so crowded so the ambiance is really loud. You get to pick out of various options beginning from various appetizers, to soups, to teriyaki, and then of course sushi. I tried so many different rolls and I have to say the Godzilla and Butterfly rolls were my most favorite!! For desserts they have a few options - I tried fried oreos and green tea ice cream. Both were amazing. The service is fast and the staff is super nice. I will definitely recommend this spot!
Sushi buffet for $40+/person (after tax tip). The sushi taste pretty good, does not taste frozen. Sashimi is unlimited which is great. The rolls are really packing with fish.Parking lot on site is available but limited. The few times I came, I was able to find parking nearby. 90 min limit for food. Good for groups.
The food's always good when we come here. The service is fast and concise. I really enjoy coming here.
I like the inside atmosphere of Asian ancient house & food tasted good and the order came out without waiting long. The only complaint I have is that the rice portion on sushi is bit much & reduce it by at least 1/3 should make it better. Good experience in overall.
