Expensive for the ridiculously small amount of food, if you order on google, “order online” option, price for lamb skewer is $1.5 each but in store is $2 each. I ordered online first, but the restaurant kept saying they didn’t receive the order, chowbus has no response, payment still pending after 2 days. So I called the resultant to order, long wait at 2pm, some are over cooked (burnt) some are undercooked, I ordered 4 BBQ mushrooms and 20 lamb skewers, tiny amounts. Should have taken a pic. Doesn’t look good.
Only in Queens..It is shame that Brooklyn doesn't have this kind of authentic Northern Chinese style restaurant. Highly recommended.
I would've put five stars if me and my friend weren't rushed to finish our meal within less than an hour of getting into eating it and that they could've informed me that they charge a card fee. The man was a little rude about rushing us because me and my friend were merely talking and on our phones for like a minute, and I wasn't sure if it's because they wanted to make more money by seating 6 people over 2 since they were standing by the front door but... Jeez.I am actually very satisfied with the amount of dumplings they gave us, it was only $12, as well as the naengmyeon. I also ordered skewers but they set the flames too high and for too long despite me doing what I could to keep them from burning. I had halfly-charred covered yet cooked shrimp for skewers, basically. I didn't enjoy them, at all, even if they were technically ONE of the cheapest options out of all the meats ($7).Lastly— You should put it on the bill about the card fee, seriously. I gave a big tip and I was shocked that they charged my card more than what the total was without informing me about it whatsoever.
What's the best thing to have during a cold night? Skewers and beer if you ask me! This place has great food and service. We did not have to wait long for our food, be it the meats or the other things we ordered like sides and more sides. Temperature inside was not too hot nor too cold, which means it's just perfect for barbecuing! We got to enjoy our stay and will be back for more for sure! Give them a try if you like cooking your own meat, since that is their main selling point.
5/5 in these areas with reasoning:1. Selection of food is decent with great quality in both BBQ item and Korean soup2. Portion of food is worth the price3. Customer service is super4. Dining environment gives you a very authentic BBQ feeling
Food is good - all the food I ordered was actually pretty good, but I won't go back. Card fee is 8.9%? I never understand why consumers have to deal with card fee. And they literally charged almost 10%. That's a no.
Delicious, absolutely gonna come back. Last night was my second time. Everything is so yummy. Even full, I can’t stop eating, omg, I love it. Lamb, cold dish, and barley tea, so on. I can’t even think of taking a picture.
This restaraunt is delicious. Everything is so good, and the staff are extremely friendly. I recommend the cold noodles, fried pork, and lamb.
good price, good portion.food is delicious here. only place I go for genuine skewer bbq. they are always busy so it is better go there when they open. nothing to say about bbq because it is so good and fun, also fried pork with sweet rice dish is amazing. grest place to go as a group.
