This restaurant used to be very good Gamjatang restaurant. Owner, grandma was very good cooking. I don't know what happened, I don't see her anymore and Gamjatang meat was dried, poor quality. Their main food was Haejanggook and Gamjatang but now all mixed up with other food. Like boonsikjip. If looking for good gamjatang, this is no longer a place.
Small portion for the price. Average food.
My friend wanted Korean ginseng chicken soup so I yelped some places and this one came up highly recommended. When we went in, we were seated immediately and then we chose what we wanted. I got the spicy pork bone soup and my friend got the chicken ginseng soup. We also got a seafood scallion pancake to share. The best part of the meal was the seafood scallion pancake. The batter was perfectly crispy and there was a good ratio of crisp to chewy with the scallions. There could have been more seafood honestly for the price they charge. There are tiny pieces of cut up squid here and there. My friend said their chicken ginseng soup was good but tasted like it wasn't cooked long enough. I tasted it and it was okay.....the ginseng flavor was not very potent or lasting. It was a very faint undertone....not sure of this is how ginseng soups normally taste bc the ginseng soups ive had have a pleasant bitter sweet taste departed from the ginseng. The pork bone soup was pleasantly flavored but not sure if it is related.....but I had diarrhea and stomach pains coming home and that was the last thing I ate. There is plenty of banchan provided and they refill. They are prompt to give you the check after about an hour.....without you asking, as if they are kicking you out.Nice mom and pop place but not sure if I'd return and get their chicken ginseng soup....perhaps if try other stuff on their menu though. Heads up, workers there don't speak much English.
They don’t speak English at all and nobody can even understand me. Bad attitude
Average food at average prices. Average customer service, as well.
Hidden gem mom n pop restaurant with good gamjatang. The sujebi was pretty ok too.
The service was absolutely wonderful. Kim taught us how to properly eat the food (I have never been told at any other Korean restaurant I've been to). She was funny and very kind and the portions of food were excellent and well priced. I felt very at home.
Great prices, delicious food, and friendly staff! I'd love to go here again.
Good korean food ??
Tasty Korean soups. Love their Gamjatang (Pork back bone stew on Uber Eats), regularly order this when I get a craving.
