This place is a joke. We went there and they would not allow us to ordered the small combo because is for two people and we were a party of three. So we had to ordered the large combo. And to topped all we gave 18% and we had the waitress chased us down to the door because she claimed the tip is 20%. We told her a tip is what the customer feels you earned as a waitress and nowhere was it posted that a 20% is mandatory. We spend almost $200 and we got chased down in front of everyone for $7 more. This is why you entitled waitress give other hospitality workers a bad name. Stay in your lane and you might get better tips
First time here and the food was delicious! Luckily, we didn't have to wait to be seated and when we did everything was already set up on the table, which was fantastic. We ordered the thin sliced beef brisket, two orders of the prime boneless short rib, one marinated prime boneless short rib, and the beef short rib soup. The short rib tasted just like wagyu, nicely marbled and so tender and juicy. The dipping sauce there was so good, you didn't really need the marinated version, although it was slightly sweeter with it. The shirt rib soup was nice and clean, with tender chunks of short rib and some noodles. Good on a cold rainy night. Cheesy corn, steamed egg, all the sides, everything was fresh and really good. Highly recommend and def want to come back here.
The name of the place means something like "the butchery," so it definitely is a good place to order BBQ (over other dishes). Quality of the food is pretty good, though the tripe we had was thinner than i expected and had a sweet soy seasoning which i was not used to. The portions are smaller compared to the price, but it's all good quality meat and you get a ton of side dishes for free. They will do a team song and celebration for you with the party lights on your birthday if you let them know ? . Also, Kpop from the 90s def adds some nostalgic Korean vibes ?
Please take my review with a grain of salt, since I'm very picky when it comes to my meat cuts. The service was just okay. I got everything I needed, but everyone was so quiet. I would have liked to see some of the workers' personalities, or at least just an explanation of what some of the side dishes were, but it was just a quiet night. That may be just fine for some people, but I'm just throwing it out there. When you first get to your table, there are already a lot of small vegetable dishes and sauces for you to use with your meats. After ordering, everything is cooked right there in front of you. I got about 4 different cuts of meat. One was amazing, two were just good, and one I didn't really like much. It's definitely not a bad place, it just wasn't memorable for me. The prices were not bad as well.
Food and service delicious!! Definitely will be coming back!
Best cuts and great service. Kalbi dumplings are delicious too! Very clean and big restaurant with plenty of room for parties of any size. Hands down my favorite Korean Barbecue.
Came here for a dinner one weeknight with several friends. I won't comment on the food, as that is not the point of this review. It's a traditional Korean spread with lots of little dishes already set out as appetizers, so the table gets quite crowded with all the plates when the entrees come out. After dinner was finished, we were going to have a birthday cake served. But at no point did they think to clear any of the plates before serving the cake. They did a nice job of singing the birthday song. And even after the cake was finished, they still didn't touch any of the plates! So the whole time we sat there with all these used plates all over the table. And it's not because the restaurant was that busy. The music was a little loud also. The food might be fine, but the service was lacking!
Not very satisfied on my first visit here tonight.I went here with my family. The place wasn’t packed. There’s barely customers, but the service was poor.We decided to try the soups since it’s cold outside. We ordered 2 beef short ribs soup, 1 ox bone soup, 1 seafood soft tofu stew, dumpling and topokki. We waited 25 minutes for the appetizer to come and drinks. Another long wait for the soups and they forgot my topokki order. Again, there’s barely customers. Not coming back here.
I’ve been to a couple of Korean BBQ places before but my friend brought me here and all I can say is that I was amazed, the food was incredible. It is a little pricey but the prime cuts of beef are phenomenal, the food over all was incredible it was truly an experience.
Great atmosphere, food and service. My family and I are thankful for such a wonderful overall experience.
