I would give the no stars if I could! We went there last night, arrived at 8pm and ordered burgers and chicken fingers, nothing out of the ordinary. We had to keep asking them where our is the food only to hear it’s being prepared. The server brought out “some” of the food order at 8:50! In summary, we waited fifty minutes and didn’t get all of our order. The staff was apologetic, but there is no reason to wait this long for basic meals.
I went to The Main Event's Farmingdale location with my co-workers for lunch this week, and it was an all-around excellent experience.The parking situation at this location is magnificent, and the ambience is very welcoming. As I approached the entrance, I could already smell the amazing barbecue aroma in the air, and from that very moment in time, I knew that I was in for a great experience.We ordered the Olympic Sampler and World Cup Sampler for our appetizers, both of which were amazing. I ended up going with the All-American Burger for my meal, and then the Reese's Peanut Butter Cake for dessert. We will definitely be going back here in the future!
Good place lots of choices, plenty of tvs for your favorite teams. Good food. Good service
Invited to an office party here. Staff were on the ball, friendly and professional. We both had the bavarian pretzel and french dips - made perfectly and absolutely delicious! All in all a great time.
The environment was good, we are a big sports family so someone suggested trying it here for a casual dinner. Service was kind, but it was relatively slow when we arrived and the service was slow as well. Not sure we'd want to go back for a game when it's busy.
They accommodated our large party on short notice and were so helpful. The servers were excellent and quick, and the food was great. Everyone in our group was happy!
Place was very busy and our waiter was very nice and always check in with us to see if we needed anything for my wife's Birthday Party, which was a party of 11 for drinks.
Loved the vibe staff welcoming, food is yummy! Drinks are awesome Bummed into the main event by coincidence and what a great time we had tvs all around all sporting events can be found. Definitely recommend the Main Event!

I just had my husband's funeral luncheon there this past Monday, 1/17. It was always one of his favorite places and we always liked taking the kids there or even a bunch of us would go for happy hour after work at the Huntington Quad.As usual - the food was delicious and the service was terrific! I will ALWAYS give this place 5 stars - it's totally a hidden gem on Route 110 - you have to check them out!!!
