Great place for fresh bagels and coffee. Their egg and cheese are great on a bagel!
Food is good but their staff is horrible. No matter how many times we go there we always have something wrong or missing. Today will be the last day we go there. After my wife called in an order and got home we found her sandwich was on the wrong bagel and mine wasn't even what I ordered. Called back and after they hung up on her she called back again. She had to explain for about 10 mins what was wrong. They said they would deliver the correct sandwich to us. Now an hour later we still haven't gotten the sandwich. I will for now on be going to stuff a bagel.
Been coming here for years. It's the neighborhood place everyone goes to for a good quality bagel. Last 3 times they have screwed up order after order. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I called an order in at 10am sharp. I placed a clear and coherant order. I get there and pay for the order and head home. Opened up the bag and there was just wrong after wrong. I ordered a whole wheat everything flagel with bacon and egg. I received a whole wheat flat with bacon, egg and cheese. My husband's order was completely wrong as his supposed to be a BLT with mayo. Instead, we got a sausage sandwich. Things like this happen but you expect a proper way to rectify the issue. I called and they specified they had our sandwich there. The girl who took my order said the sandwich there had Swiss. I told her three times no Swiss. Just a BLT with mayo on a roll. They offered to deliver the correct item. Fine. An hour later, the kid comes and drops the sandwich off. At this point, my husband is super irate because he gets the sandwich with the Swiss cheese! He calls to speak to a manager and the best they can do is offer a credit for just the wrong item. He told them to forget it because the lost our business for good.
Great bagel ,great staff.home feeling!Feels great moving to longisland.depending on who makes ur order it can be ok or it can be great.and also the prices vary depending on who is charging you.first time I payed about 8 dollars for the same thing that I payed almost 11 dollars for.so I'm changing my stars from 4 to 3 stars.
I struggled with giving them 2 or 3 stars. I ultimately decided 3 because the food is good. The problem is the NEVER get it correct. NEVER. They always make mistakes. So while the food is good. You will not get what you wanted/ordered.
Place is unbelievably good, food was phenomenal and when we said that we are from out of town he brought us some bagels on the house. I am a former New Yorker and I was craving for the the experience from the past, I would love to come back if I am back in town.
One of the best bagel places in existence!!! the Staff is very nice and friendly, and we come here regularly. ????two thumbs waaay up!
I usually order from this place every week because it’s close to my job. Have always had a decent experience with them but the last order I placed with them will for sure be my last. We ordered a few different food items and and drink which I frequent buying there (ordered an iced half and half which no one has ever mistaken for a coffee) but was sent a hot coffee instead. That would all be fine and I was more than understanding to wait for the correct thing to be sent later on. However, I received a call back after they had already agreed on sending me the correct item to “correct me” on what I have been ordering from there for a while now. The “gentleman” who called me back told me to “be more clear” and to “clarify next time” with a nasty attitude as it is clear he has a hard time understanding something that everyone else there does. He also said that I will have to be charged the difference as it costs more which is fine if it was my mistake but it was not. As a fellow person who works in a customer service setting, your job is to ask when you are unsure what a customer wants, not attempt to reprimand them for it. Bagels are good though.
The best I’ve had on Long Island. I live 3 minutes away from the local bagel place but drive 15 mins for Bagel Hut. THE BEST
Let me start by saying that the food is absolutely delicious and I am very disappointed with the way in which they handled this matter. I called in a delivery order at 9 a.m. they said it was very busy it would be an hour and I said sure no problem. At 10:45 a.m. I called back to say we still have not received our delivery and was told the delivery guy should be here any minute. My order arrived at 11:26 a.m. almost 2 & 1/2 hours after I ordered it!!!! I called them back and was told "Sorry we are very busy this morning." I said so I am expected to pay for cold eggs. I asked to speak with the manager, Gary got on the phone and told me the same thing. When I asked for some kind of compensation for my cold food and 2 1/2 hour wait he said I will refund your card and send my driver back to pick up the food. #1 I thought you were super busy but you have time to send a driver back to pick up food you are going to throw out. #2 You are willing to give me a refund but you want the food back and are just going to put it in the trash instead of compensating your long time customer for the inconvenience???!!!??? THAT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!!! After much back and forth I was told I would receive my refund in full and can keep the food. When I looked at my credit card statement they only credited half the amount charged. When I spoke with Gary again he said I never told him the total so he just refunded what he thought it was. It is with a heavy heart that I say I will never order from here again! And I absolutely love the food but the customer service is trash and the way I was spoken to was completely uncalled for.
