This was an impromptu date night dinner at a restaurant we always enjoy. They only recently started serving dinner. For those wondering, they are open Thursday through Saturday for dinner until 10 pm. Menu is limited but Excellent.Our meal was excellent and our waiter, Nil, was very friendly and attentive. I ordered sirloin steak and mashed potatoes, my wife had penne ala vodka with chicken. For appetizer I had a cup of the broccoli and cheese soup fresh made and delicious.My serloin steak was not what i expected at all. But wow this was good thin steak the size of the plate, smothered in a sauce of bacon and mushrooms. Again, Wow! My wife really enjoyed her meal also. Large portions made fresh!As a side note, to atest to their hospitality, I noticed a homeless man curled up outside, under our window in the rain. We ordered the man a meal and Nil packaged it up in a to go package with a soda and then took it out to him. The gentleman was so happy and thanked us through the window. NIL spent a few minutes talking with him and then returned. Nil was so happy to have done that also and thanked us for the opertunuty to be part if that.Dessert was dissapiinting-no home made banana pudding. So intead they apologized and sent out 2 tartufo and a soft cannoli. Soft cannoli you ask? Basically it is french toast stuffed with cannoli filling, hot off the grill with powdered sugar, mini chocolate chips, and fresh strawberries. Never been so happy to be dissapointed! Over the top delicious!Please, if you're out and about in Farmingdale stop in and enjoy a good home cooked menu and very friendly hosts!10 out of 10! You won't regret it!
Clean restroom, & the waiter was friendly & apologetic. Got a free cup of coffee. However, I ordered the steak n eggs. The most expensive meal on the menu. Waited a couple minutes, to find out hey had no steak..... Ordered the ham & cheese sandwich & a side of hash...... No ham or hash...... Can't eat if you don't have food. Gave an extra star cause of the clean restroom & friendly & apologetic service. This falls on the manager/owner, who doesn't know how to order.

**Pay cash to avoid the 4% credit card service charge**The food and the service are top notch. Portion size is great and the ingredients are fresh. We came here for brunch on a Saturday and the food was much better than I expected. Also, they serve proper coffee for brunch, not mimosa. The minor blemish is the surprise credit card service charge but we still have a good experience dining here.
I've come here a couple times. The food is amazing. The staff is so amicable. Definitely coming again. You have to try the pistachio pancakes and the chicken cutlet pita. Today I had grandma's Benedict..... Yummy
Chef Jorge and our waiter Neil were excellent! The food was delicious ! When they found out it was my birthday they came to the table and sang Happy Birthday ! What a great brunch place The place is a gem
I do not even know how to begin to express how good this spot is. Let me start by saying that the ambiance gives homestyle vibes, like your really at Grandmas house. I absolutely loved how beautifully decorated it is and everything so clean and homey. The service was beyond spectacular and the food was DELICIOUS and FRESH! I had a breaded chicken cutlet with fresh peppers, caramelized onions and mozzarella on a grilled panini with a side of macaroni salad….GUYS! Best macaroni salad ever! This place is a must for anyone around the long island area looking for some delicious, freshly made food. Quickly became one of my fav spots! Don’t think about it, just GO! You won’t regret it.
