The Cauliflower appetizer is just that, appetizing. And the Shrooms can be ordered in a small size.
ALWAYS CONSISTENT!! :) My wife and I LOVE Houlihan's because of the consistency of the quality and quantity of the food!! Always fresh, always delicious!!! Deanna is the BEST server, and we always request her. She is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and accommodating. Deanna helps to make a great experience even greater!!!!

I have been eating at Houlihans for over 15 years. I first learned of it when they were in Lake Grove, NY. I have never had such bad service at this restaurant or ever. I have even made it a point to eat at this restaurant in Pennsylvania! You would think with the Farmingdale location being the last one in NY that their waitstaff would try a little harder at customer service. The waitress never introduced herself or welcomed us. The rest of the party just sat and she was already rushing us for drinks before anyone had a chance to look at the menu. Then she got an attitude when we asked for more time, and walked away. She forgot to bring us ketchup. She was mad that we didnât think the drinks were good. She never bought waters to the table. Every time you said something she would walk away. She dropped the check and took a long time to pick it up, once she ran the cards she dropped them and never told us to have a goodnight or bye. She didnât come back and check on us. All five of us did not care for her attitude at all. Do not serve people if you donât want to deal with them. To top it off before I left for my 45 min drive back home, I went to the bathroom and it was the nastiest dirtiest bathroom. It doesnât take much for managers and workers to check the bathrooms for your guests. We sat next to the kitchen entrance if there are cameras and all of my info needs to be checked. It doesnât matter anyway because I donât think Iâll ever go back. Also tell your hostess stand to smile and be more welcoming when guests walk in.
Movie night
Dated decour. Food choices were a lot less than I remember. Drinks were watered down, almost no alcohol at all in them. Food was mediocre at best. Good for a low priced meal but you get what you pay for.
I would have definitely given this place 5 stars but my food was cold.. it taste great all of the appetizers i ordered but were cold so i know had they been hot it would of tasted better..

Came after the movies for a quick bite with my parents and kids. Always like coming here bc its kids friendly, drinks are good, food is good and predictable and itâs not crazy expensive.
This restaurant is ALWAYS consistently wonderful!!! The food is fresh, plentiful, and cooked perfectly!! The atmosphere is quiet, subdued, and comfortable. We always request Deanna to be our server. She is professional, friendly, accommodating, and helps to make our visit there EVEN BETTER!!! Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :)
