I order so much from this place, but not anymore… they constantly make mistakes on my food, I do not eat pork… they insist on sending me food with pork on it… even if I don’t order it. Like the pupusas I always order cheese… they send me pork each time!!! Just horrible customer service… and speaking or calling doesn’t help, it just doesn’t!!!
I like The food and always order tacos and pupusas. But today the cashier wanted to charge me moreThan she was supposed to. I ordered 3 tacos mixtos and a order of 3 pupusas 1 horchata. Over the phone I asked how much it will be I was told $55, on Uber eats it comes up to $49.96. When I got to pay I give the cashier $100 bill and she give me back $20. When I asked why is she charging me that much she was trying to full me, telling me that she charged separately for the tacos I did for her the math and she give me back another $15 when she was supposed to give me $20. But I did not want to argue over $5. This is not how you do business. I am Really disappointed. I posted the pictures on Yelp with the receipt.
The quality if the service and the food continues to decline. I have witnessed once too many times the owner speak horribly to his employees. I know for a fact these people are underpaid and undocumented and the owner takes advantage of it.
Called to question about a charge on my bill that was increased. The man who answered the phone was rude and cocky and bluntly said “well prices for everyone and thing is going up” and laughed. Not understanding what I was asking. He then passed the phone to a women who was able to answer my questions. I typically order the same food and found it weird that I had an extra charge for asking for extra onions and cilantro, also found it strange I’m being charged $7.50 for a drink that costs $4-5 in store. The food here has always been good but nothing out of the ordinary, for the price I think I will start looking for another Latino local restaurant to order my lunch from. I understand that prices go up due to inflation. Maybe if the people attending the phone weren’t so stand offish or arrogant I would continue to buy from here.came back to edit, I received my food, while it was warm and tasted good, I was given verry little pieces of meat, I asked for extra cilantro and onion and got none, I also wasn’t send any forks or napkins or tortillas, I had to walk to 711 and get some my self,
Taco wise, these are the best in the area. You can select from chicken, pork, chorizo, fish, steak, and even beef tongue. Lots of toppings that come automatically. I like that you get three per order instead of having to pay per taco. Just be aware that everything is made to order so allow time once you put in your order.Ive tried their other selections and most have been hit or miss. Their fish entree seemed too fishy and dry for me but that's all perspective I guess. Their tostada was a bit tasteless but I got the chicken.Their empanadas however were quite good.All in all I'd stick with the tacos from here. Can't go wrong.
This restaurant produces the best taco Iv ever seen. Competition is non existent. El chef en la cocina ha dominado el oficio. I recommend the Birria Tacos. Everything here taste flawless. Eat the food slowly it may help you understand the rich history of this cuisine. Eating El Paso Authentic Taco Grill is a spiritual experience. Thank you!
Prices online are nearly half what of what they charge in the restaurant. Claim “it’s been inaccurate for years and they can’t fix it”. I’m pretty sure it could be fixed quite quickly nowadays. They don’t disclose any of their pricing, seemingly charging whatever they feel. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Food was good but severely overpriced. I would certainly not return.
The service was slow the first time i went, they stay busy thats for sure. The food was great, the people are great, im definately going back every couple weeks, its so much better then all those popular food chains.
9 out of 10 times your order is wrong and they’re extremely slow. Birria tacos with no sauce, and pupusas with no curtido (pickled cabbage) on several occasions. The picture attached is an unfilled container of white rice that they charged me $9.78 for (just rice nothing else). Poor customer service on top of all this. Gave them numerous chances, but the prices don’t compare to what you get. Eat elsewhere.
Amazing quality tacos and burritos! They are my new spot for tacos.
