Food was in small portion. The chicken was only 4 pieces that looked bite sized. Not fresh. I got the food served first and then they brought the utensils when the manager looked at me confused. My food cost a whopping $18.45. While I’m trying to pay the guy “David” he gives me the receipt before I hand him cash and a guy stands next to me mumbling “whole lot of cash” while looking at the guy David because they expect me to drop a huge sum for a tip.
It's mother's day here at Applebee's farmingdale location and I realize we're not at a 5 star restaurant but this was the worst meal I've ever had, my broccoli is mush, the mashed potatoes taste sour and I got served a tail piece of salmon. Oh and it took 15 minutes not to get my beer and the host is walking around cursing in the dining room. Everyone's freaking out and running around like chickens.Oh BTW, it's not that busy
Store was slow which is understandable. Getting my order taken the girl seemed very disinterested. Wait time wasn't bad. Greeters up front nice. Manager stopped by she was respectful and polite. Got home steak was good, mash was cold, wife's food which was shrimp bowl heavy on selantro, loaded waffle fries dried out. Wife not happy.
Very unprofessional customer service and even the manager need to be trained. Messed up entire order and very bad attitude. I was not going to complain anything just wanted to ask how to solve the problem in the beginning until she SNEERED in the phone. Now I’m going to complaint about it because of her attitude. Horrible! And by the way we didn’t eat any from the wrong order and they goes to trash can because they don’t look good the food is just like their attitude.
Ordered car side and my kids burger was raw. Called store to notify the issue and Paul the manager proceeded to say “It’s all coming out like that tonight”. Close restaurant if you know food is being served raw. Especially to small children.
My whole family loves coming here for the wings. They are quick and the price is good. It is nice to even just hang out by the bar and take a drink. Nice relax setting.
Good service and good food. A little heavy on the salt but otherwise no complaints
Not the same food or service as I remember a decade ago. Not my go to place went after and event. I always do enjoy their pretzels though
To begin with restaurant was not busy. Hostess sat my wife while finished my smoke outside. I came in and hostess had no clue where my wife was. So I went and found her myself. Wife took a seat in the bar area for faster service or so we thought. Waitress walked by us for 10 minutes until a table of 9 came in and she rushed over to them. Brought them water took a drink order and walked by us to give bartender the order. Went back to table of nine and took the food orders. 15-20 minutes have now passed and we are still waiting. Finally my wife stops her to get some service. I comented on how long we were waiting and she proceeds she had a table of 9 to take care of. Which I pointed out that they had come in 10 minutes after us!She didn't tell us about the drink specials which gets you a free entree. Wanted to bring everything out at the same time, entrée, soups salads, main course. Really?? My salad was floating in a bath of cold water, broccoli was mush, potatoes cold, steak over cooked and salty. My wifes Chicken Alfredo was as she said ok. Asked for check, took her 2 trips back and forth before she got it to us. Mind you, NO new customers have been seated. Manager finally got involved.He was great, apologetic and very courteous. He took care of the bill. The waitress did not get the suggested 18- 24% tip. She got nothing from us. I hope she treated the table of nine better than us.We will not be returning to that restaurant.
booth was dirty, used napkins and such under tables Hostess seemed bothered she was asked to clean before we sat. Kids food was cold, Kids smoothies were gross. both steaks overlooked. Worst Applebee's experience.
