I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty D'Anna's food was. The Ziti with Bolognese and the Chicken Francese were particularly enjoyable, and I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again.

I ordered from grubhub and the driver (who works for the restaurant) was rude and made me uncomfortable. The order came and stunk the room up with the smell of cigarettes. The alfredo was embarassing. It tasted like milky carbs. It was the exact opposite of decadent. Take a look for yourselves.
ordered 2 veal parm heros, said it 3 times. girl confirmed, wnet to pick them up, they made 2 chicken marsala heroes. They said, no worries, wait 20 minutes and we will get your order right, the problem we were heading to airport, avoid this dump, go to Martinos or Umbertos

Elmont has always had exceptionally good pizza places. Been coming here for a lifetime and their menu is great. The owner and workers are very friendly. Service is great. I've never had a single problem with any of my food from here and I've been coming here for 20+ years.

I want to start this review by saying that they make great pizza. The food is always extremely fresh and Im always pleased with how good the food is. They have the best garlic knots I have ever tasted. This is why I have to give them three stars instead of one. My most recent experience with is why I will no longer be ordering pizza from them. I ordered a large pie for my friends and I from them on the slice app as I usually do at around 7:30pm. I got a confirmation text and email saying that my food was on its way. So at around 9:00 pm, I'm confused as to what is happening. I call the restaurant and a very sweet young lady answered the phone and said she didn't see my order so she was going to pass me off to her manager. The manager on the other hand was extremely rude and passive. He quickly told me to call tomorrow morning and hung up the phone. My friends and I were all extremely shocked at how rude he was but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt because it was late, they were about to close, and they were probably very busy that day. I was inevitably stuck with guest and no food so you can imagine my embarrassment. Today I called back to find out that my pizza was delivered. I asked who picked up the pizza and he said that the delivery guy handed it off to a man and a lady with a cane. I told them that was the wrong house and that I never received anything last night. The young man who I was speaking with stated that there was nothing that they could do because the pizza was already delivered. I didn't argue, fuss, or fight, I simply just left it alone and hung up. I'll just leave this as a loss on my part. I feel like the delivery system needs a bit of tweaking for future customers that want to order online. Asking the person who is the name on the order would have stopped all this from happening because it seems like the delivery guy went to the wrong address and just handed the pizza off to anyone standing out side of that house. Im a very understanding person so its a good thing that this happened with me because I don't think a different customer would have been so understanding.
I ordered the pizza the other day and it was good. Very tasty. My wife has celiac and their menu lists a gluten free pizza so I called to ask how they prepare the pizza and whether it would be free from cross-contamination - I was brushed off the phone and treated like my question just annoyed him (not that he was listening to my questions, anyway). He eventually just hung up on me because he was too busy without answering my question.Would love to order from here again, but with that type of customer service, I think I'll go find another pizza place for my wife and I.
