They should announce that they are under new management. Drove in from Elmhurst specifically for corn pone & fried oysters- no longer on the menu. Mostly take-out but dined in - 5 tables. Servers & chef were courteous. Had fried fish & shrimp. Delicious & large portions. Sweet potato fries were really fresh & the best I've had. Their assortment of fried rice & iced teas looked yummy. Will return. Clean. 4 stars for the surprise in menu.
They close at 10 on Thursdays. I get there at 9:20 to place an order. The young lady rudely says they're closed. I told them their sign states 10 pm. A man comes out and tells her to take the order. She tells me I can place an order but I had to pay cash. I wanted to tell them to go to hell but I told them never mind. Well, I can go to other places for seafood. Never again.
I enjoy their seafood. Seafood bags with thick, sweet sauce. The Cajun or crab du Jour sauce is valid. Too bad they don’t have deals like Cap’t Loui (they’re my all time favorite). You can only receive delivery through a partnering app. They also have nice staff.
Great priced seafood at this seafood boil restaurant. The place is fairly no frills and has about maybe 5 tables, so I feel like it’s mostly takeout. I got the garlic butter and lemon pepper. It was good but a tad salty. Their potatoes are huge. I got their green mussels, shrimp with the heads on, and clam but they forgot to give me the clam so now I have to go back and order something else so I get comped. The staff is nice and looks possibly family owned. I’ll come back but maybe just choose one sauce instead of a combo sauce. P.S. they have a great family combo meal I wish they mentioned to me instead of me ordering a la carte.
For three pieces of shrimp the prices are too high. Though the food was well made. Casian fries are delicious.
I had fried scallops and snow crab legs. They were both very delicious, fantastic service and quick. I'll be back soon!
The food I had was fine, but there's actually no way to order seafood without it coming with a bunch of sides that you may not want to pay for.
