Wonderful in every way! Food, personnel, attention paid to detail and we thank them for that! We celebrated our 50th anniversary and the Hill Top Inn certainly made it a memorable and excellent experience. Many thanks.
This is the second time I have been to this wonderful restaurant! The view is spectacular, the tasty food is well prepared and our waiter Zack was very attentive and made our evening even more enjoyable! This is a perfect place for a memorable evening. You will see the best sunsets EVER!
We have enjoyed eating dinner at Hilltop many times in the past but last night was very disappointing. First I would like to mention that the atmosphere and view are wonderful but unfortunately our meal and the service left much to be desired. We ordered some starters and drinks which we enjoyed, but our shrimp scampi was delivered to our table very dry, with no sauce of any kind. It consisted of dry angel hair pasta with some shrimp on top. We let our waiter know and he took our plates back. When he returned our dinners they had some kind of watery mix added. We decided to eat it anyway but we did let the server know that it wasn’t really acceptable. He said he was sorry. We chose to skip dessert as we weren’t sure what that would be like. We went to a different restaurant and enjoyed a nice dessert elsewhere. We were disappointed that no one offered to make the situation right. We will not be having dinner at this restaurant again, which is a shame because we do enjoy the view!
We are frequent guests at Hilltop. We love the environment, the food, the staff, and the views. Today we got the pleasure of having Easter dinner there, I normally cook for all holidays but decided this year I did not want to. I was so impressed with the food and the staff. Everything was delicious and I didn’t even have to do the dishes!! AND The most important part…… I have an allergy to Gluten (Celiac disease), they labeled the food items in the buffet so there was no guessing and no need to find staff to ask a bunch of questions! Makes buffet dining so easy and relaxing which literally never happens anywhere! Thank you Hilltop Staff!!!!
Our out door seats with the view was nice. The food was good as well.
I’ve lived in the area for all my life. We frequently visit this restaurant because I love the environment, food, staff and views. The staff is so amazing and the food is always delicious. However… we went up today for the first time for a holiday dinner which we usually stay home for…. I decided I did not want to do all the work this year and said we are going to the Hill! Wow!! I was so impressed, food was amazing, service was still fabulous and I did not have to do dishes!!! Thank you Mike, Jeremie, and staff!!!
Friendly and hospitable waiter. Crowded on weekends. Reservation is preferred for evening dining in. Everything is always perfectly cooked.
Went to hilltop inn for a memorial luncheon for a coworker that passed away, the food was all leftover garbage from the day before which was st. patricks day. The food that was served was left over corned beef and grilled cheese sandwiches, left over shepards pie and soup and cookies. The owner charged 23 dollars a plate for food that i wouldnt feed to my dog. I have seen better food served at the soup kitchen that i volunteer for. The event was from 3 to 6 pm, the food was taken away at 5:15 and the owner rudely came out and announced it was 5pm and everybody had to go outside or to the corner of the restaurant. Also, i failed to mention he charged 375 dollars for the cookies that you can buy at sams club for 50 dollars. The current owner of the restaurant is just an arrogant ,money hungry person, nothing like his father when he operated the business when you got a great meal. It was sad and disgusting that mike sullivan took advantage of people at such a time of loss. Shame on you mike sullivan for the leftovers you served to paying customers!
The corn beef was sliced thin and delicious and for dessert mint ice cream pie. Yum Listening to Pat Kane
Great view. Great food. Fabulous service!
