I just love starting my day with a latte from ETCH. Great staff, always happy to see you and the atmosphere is wonderful.

I’ve been here three mornings in a row! The efficient service, beautiful furnishings (courtesy of Capabilities upholstery service, the parent company of ETCH), and yummy drinks (This cold brew is my favorite i’ve tried here. Note that I do prefer to keep my drinks simple with no cream/sugars!) have all kept me back. An added bonus is the delicious blueberry lemon muffin I had yesterday, and will probably have again today! Cheers, ETCH!

I love they cocoa hot chocolate drink ❤️

Actually was headed down the street to downtown grind while my car was being worked on, didn't realize they were closed on Tuesdays. Ultimately it was a pleasant accident. Service was awesome, store was clean and welcoming, and the coffee was excellent. I'll be going back

No, no and no. I love the affiliations to this store front but, the product is simply not good. Counter girl was friendly. I will visit in a few months to try to coffee again

I love stopping in here for coffee! It’s cozy, the staff is always very friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for meetings or getting some work done while looking out over the newly renovated Water St. and Chemung River.

I have come here a few times, as I work twice a week in Elmira. The first 2 times, were good, as they use Gimme coffee for their espresso, and I like Gimme Coffee (since I live in Ithaca). The barista was friendly and made me good drinks. The last three times I've been there it's been a cluster****. There is a new (could not be new and I never ran into her) barista, who does not make for someone I would want working my coffee shop. The last three times I've been there, I've walked into an unmanned counter, and have had to stand waiting for 10 minutes because of whatever reason (bathroom, doing the closing procedures for the day early, etc). A cafe should never be unmanned. Not only is it a security/loss/liability issue, it's unprofessional to have a customer waiting 10+ minutes to even place their order. One time when she finally strolled in she exclaimed in a frustrated/angsty manner "Oh Gaawwwdd" when she came in with three people now waiting to order. Now lets get into the coffee. After such a long wait, it would have been forgivable if the drink was great, but it wasnt. This one particular occasion, this person made my cold brew frappe that I ordered with caramel, without any caramel. And my wife ordered an oatmilk mocha, and she got her drink with the cup only 3/4 full, and the milk although hot had zero texture. There was also no chocolate in it . My wife isn't a "Karen" but she does know coffee having been a general manager for a big local coffee shop for almost a decade. The "new" barista seems to put more effort into her rainbow eyebrows than she does into her customer service and her coffee beverages. So although I liked this shop before, these last 3-4 times have killed it for me and I won't be coming here anymore, due to the lack of anyone behind the counter for 10+ minutes, the general attitude, and the bad (lately) drinks.Gave 2 stars, because it is a nice, clean and calming space. Very well designed and put together....but the atmosphere is only part of a good coffee shop. Customer Service and the actual drinks you're making and serving trump the vibe of your place, and thats been missing.

The ambiance of the café is nice but I have found that the quality of the coffee varies every time I have gone there. Overall, my experience was fine and the prices are fair, but it is not my first choice when I need a coffee.

Amazing prices, har working friendly staff and the best coffee drinks around!!

Good latte, 16oz quad shot. Smooth. Brownie espresso was mediocre.
