Nice atmosphere, great staff and delicious food!
I love the food so good the Rachel sandwich is my absolute favorite I haven't been here in quite a few years but all's I know is that I still crave there food! I'm proud that I live in a town where there is some very talented culinary artists????!
Such delightful staff. Maybe I was a little tipsy from a generous pour of wine ? but the steak I had was the best I had in a few years.
This place is quintessential Elmira! It’s been around for a while and the food is pretty good, prices aren’t bad. It’s worth it for the atmosphere alone.
Meal was ok, but slow getting our food.
We live on Long Island, NY and we have three German restaurants within 14 miles of us.But none of those restaurant’s German food comes anywhere close to the quality the Octoberfest dinners Charlies Café offered us.The food was just delicious. Absolutely the best potato pancakes I have ever tasted. And the red cabbage was freshly made, not something preprocessed.My Pork Schnitzel was crisp and tasty and my wife raved about her Stuffed Cabbage. I tasted it and it wasn’t the standard dull, mild meal so common everywhere else but had a tasty flavor to it.We were here in Elmira just one night and totally glad we visited Charlies Café.
