They clearly do not care what they are putting on your plate. The service was horrid to boot. For the prices we pay for a SALAD, I expect the whole thing to be edible.
I had ordered an online curbside order and didn't realize I had ordered it to the wrong store. Called the store and this wonderful lady Melissa informed me I ordered from the wrong store, Asked me what i ordered, made my order for free, and then called the store I ordered it to refund my order! Thank you so much that made my week!
No one was very friendly, had to keep asking waitress for things because she never asked us if we needed anything. Service was usually a lot better. Food was ok but was better when I went before. Not sure I'll go back
The fish and chips, a favorite of mine, weren't what I expected so I left most on the plate and did not request a to-go box. Over cooked, and super dry fish isn't pleasant with lukewarm fries. My son's chicken tenders were overcooked as well. So instead of eating the 5 presented on his plate, he managed 2 and complained it hurt his teeth to chew. ? My mother-in-law asked for a well done burger and received a burger with a mildly pink center. I can't understand why so many odd things occurred. It wasn't lunch rush or dinner hours. There were only a handful of patrons seated. Guessing I should have taken that sign to heart. I love Applebees, always have and always will. This one location won't discourage my outlook on the fantastic ones I frequent in Syracuse or Watertown.
They didn't have the all you can eat riblets ,chicken strips or shrimp like the online menu says. Was very disappointed and the only reason I went in the first place. If you stop or have restrictions on where certain things are sold. Then those franchises aren't in line with corporate specials. So just rename it and sell whatever you want. Consistency is the key to a successful business. I won't be going back.
Allie the bartender is awesome!!! Has a great personality and is always nice to everyone. Has a great awareness and always remembers what we drink no matter how long it has been since our last visit. Food is consistently good and served in a very timely manner. Thanks Allie!!
Food was ok. Went at 9:30pm couldn't believe how many little kids were there. Asked greeter not to sit next to a screaming kid. He accommodated my request but then sat 3 different family's with kids under 3 next to me. Just bad luck maybe.
I am, disappointed generally with how this place is. Like most restaurants of the same style (Texas Roadhouse, Chili's) you can get the appetizer sampler for only a few bucks, get a ton of food from it and you won't be disappointed. Similarly the bowls are also very good.However every time I go here the staffing is a mess. The last three times I can remember over the past two years there have been wild staffing issues where no one knows what food goes where, what table to seat someone, no one collects the check, the soft drinks are always watered down or low on syrup. Once I had a great waitress but it was for a work group so I think they just had someone experienced come out but generally I think they're having trouble with training people.Food is fine, management needs to try harder to get people up to speed. Cocktails are nice.
Got home to find the food I had was something I would have sent back if I had dined in. No sauce on the 3 cheese penne I ordered. Chips with spinach artichoke dip were covered in thick salt. My husband's food was sliding all over the dish mixing it all together. Only positive thing is my food came out before it was supposed too so maybe if they took those extra minutes...
Staff was courteous and kind. It was clean and well maintained. Great first experience staying here. I would definitely come back.
