This is probably the lowest we’ve seen a Taco Bell sink …visited around 10:30pm on a Saturday night and ordered Chalupas, quesadillas and the new chicken tacos ..1. food was not heated uniformly… cheese did not melt in places2. Steak quesadilla had less than an mm of thickness … talk about shrinkflation … and it was burnt3. Chalupa’s ranch sauce was only a small bit at the end .. the rest of it was dry and tasteless4. Tacos did not seem fresh and chicken inside was over fried / burnt5. Bin was overflowing (see pic)
I came here to have the re-released Mexican pizza, which was good (and literally the only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one). The fact that this portion of my experience went well is literally the only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I also ordered a taco in a separate order, and never received it. I got tired of sitting there and waiting forever for someone to acknowledge people at the counter (there were plenty of people there and clearly frustrated over the fact that they were basically being ignored). Eventually I got tired of waiting and ate my pizza before it got cold and went back in when I was through. Sat there for yet another 30 minutes with only two people in front of me just for the lady to barely acknowledge me and say that she doesn't see any order which is a LIE then walks off. Now I've been on the phone with taco bell support to get my taco re ordered at another store since I honestly don't trust them with preparing my food after they were as dismissive and nasty as they were. Oh and I've been on the phone with taco bell customer support for another 45 minutes now. This is completely insane and all over a missing item.
It was a very good indoor dining experience. I hadn't been out in quite a while. The staff was still taking covid precautions with disinfectants, plexi-glass dividers, and the wearing of masks. It did seem unusually busy, more than I have seen in two years.
I walked into the restaurant and waited at one of the registers to ask a question about allergies before I placed my order. An employee walked by the register and said hello to me but kept walking. A couple of minutes later a woman from the back yelled out that I had to use the "que". Since no one seemed willing to see if I had a question or needed assistance I left the restaurant without ordering. I will never go back again. There are too many other choices in the area to eat at and not be treated rudely. Pathetic customer service.
There were 3 of us who entered the Taco Bell store atI Hempstead Tnpke, East Meadow, NY.I figured it wasnt busy so ill get my order fast. The other 2 people whom i didnt know stood behind me.We saw about 3 staff just talking among themselves and were all pointing at something behind us. So we looked and we figured they didnt want to take our orders at the counter and wanted us to use the kiosk. The 2 people behind me walked out and left. I ordered through the kiosk. Then another customer came in and they did the same thing-pointed to the kiosk. So he was about to leave but i offered to help him. He said, “these people are lazy, there wasnt even a line on the drive-thru.”I was the only one left there but it took them 20 minutes to complete my 4 order. It took them another 10 minutes to give me my 2 drinks.Then a family of 3 came in and finally they took the order over the counter. Still they couldnt give me my drinks until i yelled.Please DO NOT hire lazy people! You lost several customers because of your lazy staff!
Update. Went here last night and the drive through took about a half an hour to get through. As frustrating as that was, it appears as though there may have only been 1 or 2 staff working, so I give those staff working alot of credit, and they got my order right.Taco bell, great for those late night cravings.
The worst location ever. This used to be my go to location of Taco Bell. But now not sure if the management has changed? Or they don’t care how they make the food anymore. I started getting Taco Bell from somewhere else but after a very long time I went back to the East meadow location and again I was disappointed. They sent over burnt burritos?? How the hell u burn food in Taco Bell. Please hire new people or just close this restaurant.
No heat and the food came cold
This is the slowest the worst place ever It's awful 30 minutes to wait for an order...??? I tried it twice in one day ...I will NOT be BACK
We are going on 45 min and still waiting for our food. I understand pandemic challenges, and seems like manager is now warning people that it’s going to take some time. But we could have gone to a sit down restaurant and gotten our food by now. Overheard a manager or worker had been here since 6pm the night before. Not sure if that’s accurate, but if it is someone needs to intervene here to help fix whatever needs fixing at this overworked and very understaffed location.
