This is definitely a hidden gem. I’ve been in this area for a few years now, and never tried this place. The location kinda sucks for parking and such, but the food is so good. Had the stuffed chicken and the lobster bisque soup. So tasty. The bread is really good as well. The server was so super nice. The inside is small and intimate feeling. The decor and table setup looks great. Absolutely recommend!
I live really close and I can’t believe I’ve never been here! Amazing staff and tasty food, I’d highly recommend to come here with family and or friends. The food is fresh and the appetizers are scrumptious! The have a bar and dining room and a separate section for big parties. Clean establishment and not to pricey for the amount of portions of food you get. Here are some pictures!
We received Gators as a recommendation through a B2B group we're both affiliated with. Our company needed to schedule a 30+ person Christmas party on short notice. Although none of us had ever eaten at Gators before, we decided to give it a try. The building was a little hard to find, but we came from Huntington Station, so we don't frequent Hempstead Turnpike that often. They had a vast open room for our guests and us. We were not closed in, and air flowed throughout the entire room. I worked with Juan to set up the whole event. He made sure everything was perfect. Again, I was not sure what we were going to get. It was a small space, it was hard to find, and we booked this last-minute reservation. So we weren't expecting much when it came down to the food. But let me tell you, they served us a delicious 4 Course Meal! Juan and his crew went above and beyond our expectations! And they kept the drinks coming the entire time!! Juan and his team at Gators did right by our men and their families. Every single person left stuffed & happy! We cannot thank them enough!!!
Wow dinner was incredible, big portions and delicious and reasonably priced. staff was very friendly and the place was spotless. Would most certainly come back again
Don't judge a restaurant by its cover! I walked in with my friends on a Friday night thinking this was a casual beer and wings place. Nope, it's actually a very fine Italian style eating establishment. I was extremely satisfied with the food and wait staff. They were both attentive and personable. I will definitely come back. It's as if all this place knows is breathing and fine dining.
I actually thought this was a sports bar for the last year... when I went in figuring on having a few wings and a burger - I found it was in fact NOT what I expected AT ALL!!! It was a semi-upscale Italian restaurant - color me surprised! Very cute decor, split level - looks like it would be fantastic for bridal and baby showers; or office parties, etc. Honestly, I'd take the family here for a nice meal as well. They were very accommodating and even offered complimentary rice balls (which were very YUM). I opted to have the Shirt Rib which turned out to be soft and full of flavor. My friend had a burger with fries. All was good and I'd absolutely recommend. Just don't go thinking it's a bar type place!!!
This is a jewel of a restaurant in East Meadow. From the moment you step in you realize that you will be taken care of like family. The owner greets you, seats you and personally serves you drinks. He made us feel so special for being there. The waiter tends to your every need. The customers are happy and quite interactive. There is a good vibe that is contagious. Then the food arrives and it is absolutely delicious. Try the broiled seafood platter. Outstanding! This restaurant deserves to be packed every night. We had a wonderful time! Special shout out to the manager who cares so much about the experience that every single customer has. He gave us complimentary drinks, appetizer and dessert! Who does this?? Fantastic experience. I will bring my wife each week.
We were incredibly happy with the entire experience. The food was amazing. The restaurant is set up really nice. The staff was incredible. Juan make us feel like family. We will be back soon!
