This place is great! Excellent milkshakes: the malts are nice and malty, the strawberry shake is amazingly fresh! Definitely worth the mile or so detour off the highway.

Stumbled on this while searching for ice cream shops open on the 4th of July. Went there with my mom who has celiac and has to eat gluten free. They have a huge selection of Everything for gluten free, other allergies and "regular". A lot of fun sundae and milkshake selections and at very reasonable prices!!!! This is our new ice cream place!!!
This is a GREAT little ice cream shop! They have SO many different flavors, their menu is seriously huge.And they have cute events for kids, which is very cute.
This place is amazing. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. I would give more stars if I could. The staff came out and asked us how the ice cream was how we were doing etc. I will definitely be going back!
My son wanted a Minecraft cake and PJ Cools was the only place I could find to make it! It was very easy to order it, cost was very reasonable and it tasted good! Thank you so much!!
I have written several reviews for PJ's before, mostly for their delicious and perfectly designed ice cream cakes! PJ's is our only go-to for plain 'ol scoops or sundae's, too! But this review is to recognize PJ himself for his service and attention to detail. A few weeks ago, I randomly stopped in to see if PJ could secretly scoop us ice cream to reveal the gender of our baby to us! I handed over the envelope and PJ went straight to work with the utmost care to avoid me seeing (or hearing) anything! He repositioned me to avoid reflections and even kindly asked some children who had entered to look away, afraid they might spoil the surprise. He even included the appropriate color changing spoons! PJ is always so very thoughtful and willing to accommodate any request -- a major benefit from a small, local business who truly loves what they do! Thank you to PJ and all of his staff for brightening our day every time we come in ?? PS - It's a girl!! thanks for the strawberry surprise, PJ ??
Best ice cream place in town ! Staff and owner are super friendly and you can get dairy free and gluten free options ! Love it !
