Ordered several dishes one of which was moo shu pork. Cost was $9.45. Pork was inEdible. To remove the meat from my mouth and cut it up into tiny pieces. Felt that it was not pork but grizzle. Not wanting to throw it out, I gave it to my daughter son-in-law and granddaughter. They were not only displeased with the pork but also with the entire dish. I took the dish back three days later and the woman at the counter had a very high-pitched screeching voice with a very heavy accent. I asked her several times to speak slowly so I could understand. Apparently she did not understand because he continued to screech to the point where I would have gotten a headache. They told me I should have called immediately rather than wait three days. Also they claimed half of the dish had been eaten. No there was more like 3/4 of the food left in the dish. Rather than put the eating portion of food from my plate back into the dish from Golden House I threw it out. My daughter and her family also threw out what they did not eat rather than put it back. That’s a disgusting thought. The screeching lady offered me four dollars claiming that it was for half. Four dollars is not Half of $9.45. The hot and sour soup was Palatable but Can not be classified as good. The shrimp with peppers and tomatoes was OK. Four shrimp In the pint order. Crunchy green peppers and three circular blobs at the bottom, apparently tomato. I will never return to Golden House. The new Fortune House a block away has excellent food, good prices and the staff is absolutely marvelous. I don’t know why I decided to try Golden House and recommend anyone considering to purchase their food go to the new Fortune House instead
They serve big dishes and for reasonable pricing. very welcoming staff members. Kudos.
Surely a spot worth stopping over, the food is good and well prepared, the cost is affordable and it is always neat here. Kudos.
