This is my favorite sushi spot. Food is great, portions are big, more varieties of soju than most places I’ve visited and service is friendly.
I had not been here for many, many years. The area boasts perhaps the highest per capita of sushi spots on the Island, covering the small area of Commack Rd across Jericho Trpk to Elwood Rd, with no less than 7 places. Perhaps I got caught up with newer places. But I am so very glad I returned, as I was reminded about what really matters.At this humble, yet nicely appointed spot, one can actually see and hear their dining partners. The service is excellent. The food is fantastic. The prices are a very good value. The portions are quite large. What else can you ask for?Life is simple - seems like we all return back from whence we came. Why did we ever bother to leave?
This place is the best, even better if you eat at the sushi bar! Sushi and Sashimi combo for 2 is awesome. Huge pieces of fresh fish. Great miso soup too! Everything on the menu has been great so far. Been here 6 times!
Veggie Ramen was incredibly tasty. Portions for soup are very large! We were also impressed with service! 5 Stars!!

Great menu selection and great staff. I felt like they were always around checking in to make sure we were enjoying the experience. Ended up dropping over 100 bucks for just two of us, and felt that the quality and quantity of the food was well worth it. Would absolutely go again.
Really comfy vibey and really good food at a great price. As contradictory as it may seem. It did feel a little cramp but thats due to COVID restrictions. I'm sure normally it would be the perfect casual spot for good local Japanese food
