Largest Ted's, as far as seating and indoor square feet. Very nice staff. Delicious food as always.
Good fish fry. Simple menu. Pretty quick processing the order. Popular with the local crowd.
Clean and modernized, it was busy but the line moved along fast enough. I got a clam boat and crab cakes, both were cooked just right. I've gotten the fish fry and onion rings before, both were great. I was driving on rt 9 trying to figure out where to go for dinner when Ted's caught my eye. You can always get a good meal at a reasonable price!
So glad to find you. Been away from NY for decades. My wife was wanring some good fish, so I looked you up. There was no disappointment! Fast, friendly staff - still the best and biggest fish sandwich (breaded just right).large amount of perfect French fries too. Drink included at a very reasonable price. So glad to find a piece of "home" still in operation! Great job!
Service was good. First time there. I had the fish and chips, the fish was a little bland and slightly overcooked, my husband had the scallops which were good size he liked it and my son had the seafood combo which he liked. The coleslaw was tasty and I'm not usually a coleslaw type of gal. Restaurant was freezing though.
The great and mighty fish fry from TEDS. The is always hot and delicious. The food is so good and the dinning area always is has the delicious smells of the food being made.Ted’s Fish Fry is the best!
The food was hot and delicious and this has always been my experience whenever I patronize this establishment. You are always greeted with a smile and they’re always on the ball in taking your order. The line moves very swiftly and as you move along you can watch as they prepare the orders, the air is filled with the delicious smells of the products being made and before you know it you are at the checkout register leaving with a plate full of mouth watering, delicious food.Thank you to all of the wonderful folks at Ted’s Fish Fry for all that you do, you are all greatly appreciated.

Stopped in last week for a fish fry. The kid handling our food put the containers of cocktail and tartar on top of our fish fries after touching them with gloves that who knows when the last time they were changed. I’ve worked in the restaurant biz my entire life and you do not place other non food items on top of the food you are about to serve which someone is about to consume. When I said something to this kid his response was “ well we’ve been doing this for 70 years soooo” he was extremely snotty and rude. I’ve been to every Teds out there and the others do NOT place other items on top of the food they are serving. They are placed on the tray next to your food. Who wants to eat the food after plastic containers (touched by many hands) have been placed on top of it. Had this kid not been such an arrogant rude snot I probably would have just let it slide but the attitude of “too bad so sad” has ruined it for me. I will not be eating at the Western Ave location again. This is a NYS Health dept standard. It’s like when servers line 3/4/5 plates up their arm with the bottom of the plates on top of the food on the plate underneath it. It’s just a NO!!
The pound fish served only on Fridays is my favorite to order. The food is awesome!
