I’m writing this to save other from what we went through: a lousy meal with lousy service! We should have walked out when they were rude upon our arrival, seemingly inconvenienced by the appearance of customers. It was all bad, but the worst by far were the ‘tempura’ shrimp. This was NOT tempura-battered, but instead, encased in dense bread crumbs which soaked up the oil like a sponge – disgusting! I would have been better off buying a box of Gorton’s frozen shrimp at the supermarket. My steamed dumplings were blah and seemed frozen and hastly prepared. Also, a simple thing like the white rice was a disaster: very old and dry-looking, a dead giveaway that it had been sitting around waiting for a use. I know times are tight, but keeping old rice is beyond desperate – DON’T DO IT! It’s a terrible practice for a restaurant. Don’t bother with this place.

Great place! Their “all you can eat” option is perfect. You get such a wide variety of foods & flavors for a good price! The smaller portions make it a wonderful option if you’re looking to try a lot of different dishes. Have, and will continue to come back here!

We heard good things about this place and were excited to try it. Granted, we did go for lunch at an off hour, circa 3 PM but the place had a very empty and vacated look, and the woman who stood at the hostess station simply walked away from us when we came in. A few minutes later a man came to seat us. The icy and unprofessional reception should’ve been our first clue, but we plowed on. After being shown the all-you-can-eat menu, which was no bigger than the size of a small greeting card, we deemed it not worth it because selections were both limited and unappealing. We chose food off the menu and found it all extremely disappointing and substandard. About the best dish from our experience were the fried udon noodles with crab, only they were served with no crab at all. It all slid way downhill from there. I ordered shrimp tempura which were the most rubbery greasy and limp pieces of shrimp I had ever encountered at an Asian restaurant. And they were not tempura battered, but encased in a dense coating of Panko breadcrumbs that soaked up the oil they cooked in like a sponge. I sent them back because they were rubbery and not crispy and the shrimp were returned to me in the exact same condition. The Goyza dumplings were tiny, microscopic and overly deep fried and clearly pulled from the freezer. I probably would’ve had a better experience going to my supermarket and buying Goyza from the frozen food section. My broccoli tempura roll was elderly looking and slathered in a syrupy sauce that I never asked for, probably to hide the contents’ age. The rice that came with my meal also looked old. I imagine that since business appears to be so slow they just keep food around that piles up rather than cooking it fresh. This place is terrible and we will never go back.

I went there there the other day with a friend for all you can eat sushi. Used to be great, now it's a rip off with terrible service (at least the waitress we had - LINA on my bill). They gave us only one ticket to fill out. I asked LINA for another and was told they only give out one out per table which is ridiculous. The ticket states that you can only order one of each item per ticket not to mention how ridiculous is it filling out one ticket per table full of people - waste of time (reoccurring theme here). I asked again and she walked just walked away. Asked her again and was given a curt "NO!". Asked for the manager and the manger told me they now only give one ticket per table because it's easier to keep track of what people order which I think is BS. She gave us another ticket and we filled out our initial orders which came piece meal. They used to bring everything at once but now items you order come a little at a time. Seems to me that they are stringing things out to stretch out the time (forget about getting your money's worth on a half hour lunch). So we only got through two orders over an hour (remember that re-occurring theme about stringing out the time). Sushi on the first order had barely any wasabi. My sushi on the second order came without wasabi or ginger - I had to request that. Food is great but again, now the all you can eat is just a rip-off. Insult to injury the bill included an 18% gratuity which I missed when I paid the bill. Having worked as a waiter and bar tender years ago I know what it is to work for tips. I would not have left one. I will probably still order sushi to go since it's pretty good there but I will never go there again for the all you can eat sushi. Hope the food and service there does not go downhill but I would not be surprised if it does. I've seen a lot of restaurants start strong then skimp on quality and quantity to eventually close. I give their food a 4 or 5 but service and all you can eat buffet one star.

Been going here to dine in for all you can eat sushi. Super good. The inside is nice, lots of booths and seating. Not usually too busy. I've also gotten take out and it was good.

Been to many sushi places around the capital region and this one is the best by far. Great service and atmosphere, delicious appetizers, and quality fish for a large selection of sushi and rolls. Lunch special is very good and has us returning periodically. Out of the about ten times we've visited, one was an average experience, and the rest have been beyond high quality in every aspect of service. Highly recommend.Features: Staff wear masks and are adamant about cleaning tables and booths. Very courteous in regards to minimizing the risk of exposure in the restaurant.

Pictured below is the Tiger roll (top right), the Orange Salmon Maki (top left), and the Burning Salmon (bottom). The food was delicious. They offer both regular dine in service as well as an all you can eat option. The all you can eat option is reasonably priced compared to the other sushi places in the capital region, a pretty good variety of items you can order, both sushi/sashimi and not. The staff was very attentive and nice as well.

One of the best sushi I had.$28/adult - good food. Paid $75 for two with tax and gratuity included in a check.Though the food is good, I found a few cut corners like shreded cucumber in a seaweed salad, 80% avocado filled sushi instead of that of fish, and shrimp in a lobster salad based Prime Maki roll. 4 stars is very fair

This might be the best all you can eat sushi place in the capital region. The fish was surprisingly high quality, and their cooked appetizers and small plates could really stand on their own. They do have this very weird neon purple light that runs across the room right at eye level.. and the booths are connected together, so if your neighbor likes to move around a lot in their booth, you are feeling it, too. But, honestly, for the quality food and excellent selection, I'm happy to eat with my eyes closed, on the floor ?

Best All You Can Eat Sushi in the 518!!! I’ve been going to this place for a long time and I always return for more. I have to make it here at least once a month, because it’s one of the best dinner spots around. The menu has so many great options and for the price - it’s a steal!! It’s worth it for the amount of crab rangoons I order let alone all the sashimi cuts. I recommend going here if you enjoy good fish, great food, affordable all you can eat, 10/10 service, cocktails and hidden/private gems. You won’t be disappointed!!
