Tried the veggie dumplings and veggie lo mein noodles. Both were amazing. Freshly prepared and tasty. Good ambience. Highly recommend the place.
It’s July 9th, I heard good things about this restaurant, and sure why not let me give it a try. The restaurant is supposed to be open at 9 pm but it’s closed. It’s 8:37 pm all lights are shut off and no one is there. I came all the way from jersey. Thank you but will not come here again.
This restaurant makes my whole fam happy each time we go. The owner and staff are so sweet, pleasant and personable. The atmosphere is lovely and the bar is comfortable. I try to sample something different off the extensive menu every time we visit and there is not one thing I wouldn’t recommend:)
Best Chinese we had in upstate. Also, probably the cleanest restaurant I’ve been to in many years. The owners take very good care of this place. Very impressed.
Had dinner with friends for the first time tonight. Both the food and the service were delicious. Will definitely go again. I highly recommend it.
Food was bland. NO flavor at all. Chicken with broccoli was awful. General Tsos was not spicy at all. Very disappointed. Thought we’d try a new place and wasted our money.
Disappointing. My wife and I tried the seafood shu mai, salt and pepper wings, seafood pan fried noodles, and general tso’s chicken. The shu mai were good. The wings were too salty (and we like salty food). The crispy noodles and seafood were bland. And the chicken was too salty. We will not be going back.
Dinner with friends. Attractive setting for most part. Could see cleaning mops, etc from dining area, easy fix. PLENTY of selections, will take you a few minutes to get thru it. 2 of 3 house wines were not available, so probably paid an unexpected premium. Good pours though on wine. All dinner orders arrived on REALLY COLD plates which affected temperature of the meal. Presention was pretty but found asparagus to be quite tough, another easy fix, just pare spears a bit. Ample portion of shrimp & scallops but could have used a bit more sauce. Brown rice arrived several minutes after entree. Pleasant waiter, but had to ask for water. Company was delightful, experience could have been a bit better.
SparX is, by far, my FAVORITE restaurant in town. The Palace Crispy Chicken is amazing and the delivery is always prompt and accurate!I can sum it up by saying that my face now hurts from a wonderful mix of spice, chewing and SMILING while I ate!
I get takeout from these guys often. It's consistently tasty (I actually only every was displeased with my food once, and I don't think that one time should constitute for a negative review, as I have seen others go that route. This can really mess up a biz IMO!). Nice to see a small, family owned business doing seemingly well. They're always working so hard whenever I stop in, and the service is really fast. Also, very good prices!!!
