Awesome food with huge portions. Our servers were excellent as well. It’s best if you make a reservation because it is fairly small but comfortable and attractive. On my birthday I ordered a special, baked haddock over linguine with spinach cream sauce and hubby had the seafood pescator from the menu. There is a wonderful assortment on the menu of pastas, chicken, veal and seafood.
The staff was so great and awesome atmosphere!!
First time at Nonna Maria's tonight for a special dinner. We were fortunate to be able to get a reservation. First Impressions Upon arrival, we found the restaurant to be cozy and charming. It has the feel of an old world Italian restaurant. I was reminded of my tine in Italy. The hostess was very welcoming and immediately took us to our table. Lauren, our server, was also super helpful, guided us very effectively with respect to the specials, and was appropriately attentive during our meal. Our Dinner For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari and mozzarella fritters. Both were excellent, abundant, fresh, and served with their red sauce. For entrees, we had veal parm and chicken meatballs served over cheese ravioli with wilted spinach and vodka sauce. It was all delicious. An added bonus, the leftovers were packaged well and we will be enjoying them for at least another day. Overall This was one of the most satisfying meals we have had in the area. Nonna Maria's is worth the trip.
The food and atmosphere it feels like family and a home cooked meal. The staff has always been so amazing we love it here ❤️
All I can say is WOW. What A Great spot for a fabulous dinner. Portions were outstanding and the staff were terrific
This is the Best kept Italian Restaurant in the area. I picked our food that night as a call in, when I walked in the place it was immaculate ! The staff greeted you with a friendly smile and was open in helping you get your order. As I waited (didn't wait very long, salads were in the refrigerator), I watched the interactions with the people and the servers...This place is hospitable, cozy and pleasant! I would defiantly recommend this hidden gem for Italian food to eat at...By the way, their sauces (spaghetti) and (ravioli) are TO DIE FOR! Their meatballs....making my mouth water just thinking of it....Sorry I normally take pictures but I couldn't stop eating once I got home! Enjoy!
Very quaint Italian restaurant. Really good food! It was the 1st time we ate there and we plan on giving again.
Definitely the best old school vibe mom & pops Italian restaurant in the area. I come from old school 100% Italian family that we did all the cooking & I still do. But it's nice to b able to go to place tht makes u feel like home &, the food is great. My only concern really u don't have broccoli Rabe on the menu. I have to special requests it & that's fine it makes feel special & it comes out amazing. Hats off
several staff were recently diagnosed with coronavirus and the owner and son in law continued to operate the business without notifying staff or customers of the possible exposure….
Food is great. However, there is this one waitress who either is one of the owners or thinks she owns the place - is not pleasant to deal with. Everytime i ask for hot tea, she claims they don't carry tea. BUT, whenever she is not there, other waitresses or waiters are able to get me the tea. Has seen me at least 20 times and ask for i.d., every single time i order a drink, with an attitude.I am giving it 3⭐ not because of the food, but because service is VERY I CONSISTENT . . .
