First time at Emma Jayne’s tonight. I appreciate how helpful our server was about gluten free options. I had the miso ginger salmon and my parents’ had the halibut special. All meals were delicious and our server, Stephanie was fantastic. Also, best Riesling wine I’ve had out at a restaurant. Outstanding experience…we will be back soon!
I went to Emma Jayne’s with some girlfriends tonight for dinner. We sat at the bar for some drinks and food. The bartenders Kelly and Dakota were fantastic, very attentive and helpful with menu selections. The food was amazing, (fried mozz, stuffed mushrooms, fried Mac and cheese bites, Caesar salad, eggplant parm and chix chipotle tacos). I have always been a huge fan of Joe’s Tavern and the food and service at Emma Jayne’s did not disappoint! The owner/chef Mike came out to greet us and he was so warm and courteous. I will definitely be back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was upstate NY this past weekend for the holiday and my mom and sister-in-law suggested dinner here.I saw the other reviews and was very intrigued... This place is OUT of this WORLD! I am beyond impressed!!! Our server Jason was super knowledgeable and his suggestions from the drinks to the appetizers were A1! Superb! You must order the Blueberry Margarita. Appetizers - must order the Stuffed Mushrooms and Scallops Wellington! Food is phenomenal! The roasted red pepper butter and the hot bread...so good! Entrees were HUGE and so fresh and flavorful! Whoever runs this joint knows exactly what they are doing..... Mi familia loved everything! We were way too full for dessert. The ambiance is dope and the bano was super clean.... had to point that out.... ? I wish this place closer to me in NYC. I would be a regular! Will definitely come back next time I am in the area. 5+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food was delicious. It was packed, but we sat at the bar and were called within 20 minutes. The chicken parmigian was the best I have every had. It was authentic and truly served 2 people. The menu had so many great choices. I can't wait to go back and try other items.
Everything was awesome! Food was delicious. Large portions. Service even better. Linda was great! So friendly and attentive. We will be back!
From the chef at Max 410, comes this restaurant, leaning more towards the Italian. Food was very good, as expected. I really appreciate that the lunch menu is extensive. The only problem, and this certainly isn't their fault, is that the traffic on route 9 at dinner time is horrendous. So I think we'll stick to having lunch there.
Food was delicious, owner or manager came our regularly to check on tables. Server was good - busser a little green or disinterested but didn't affect our experience. French onion soup was very good - flavorful and not too salty. Pesto and vodka pastas wonderful, and I had the Tuscan filet that was so good it practically dissolved in my mouth.Only thing we weren't wowed by was the carrot cake. Was under spiced, but texture was fine. Could just be personal preference. Was our first visit but we will definitely be back.
My Woman's group celebrated a special gathering. The food & service was excellent! Portions were generous. We would definately come back again!
First time there, and it was lovely. Beautiful restaurant, very attentive staff, and everything on the menu sounded good! I ended up getting the special of mushroom risotto with seared scallops. The scallops were perfectly done and so, so buttery. The risotto wasn't as perfect, but it was delicious all the same. My partner got the New England seafood bake. He was expecting just some shellfish topped with butter and breadcrumbs, but instead he got this wonderful medley that blew him out of the water. The chunks of lobster were huge! Needless to say, we will definitely be going back!As an aside, this may be a little inappropriate for a review, however this place has the cleanest bathrooms of any restaurant I've been in. That's very important and telling to me!
We were a party of six.Two of us were early and waited at the bar, where we were greeted and taken good care of. The two bartenders and manager or owner (?) were so nice and engaging. They gave us wine tastings of some of the wines we asked about. Also, very knowledgeable and on point with the wine and food. So far, so good! Then we were seated. Our waitress, it seemed like we were a bother to her. She didn’t offer up the specials so we asked if they had any and she said yes, told us, but lacked enthusiasm about it and moved on. Our food took a while which would have been fine, we noticed other tables with bread baskets, so when our waitress finally came back with our order, we asked for some bread. She proceeded to bring us a basket, basically drop it on the table and ran off. There were 4 rolls, delicious, however we were a table of 6. There were plenty of staff to handle the room so it’s not like she was overwhelmed. Last but not least, we ordered the mixed green salad and asked for No Chicken. The salad cost 18 dollars. When the bill came we asked her if the salad was still same price, sans the protein, she rudely shut us down and said “yes it’s the same price!” Now at least play the game and say let me ask my manager. Overall, we would go back but maybe lose the not so great waitress. She basically ruined the experience and still got tipped well, overly well.
