10/10 would recommend. Best sushi I’ve had in the greater Buffalo area and extremely pleasant staff!
First time trying this location (used to go to the one on Elmwood but they don't have dine in anymore) and the quality is the same. Fish is very fresh and their sushi tastes great, rice is cooked properly and the sashimi is very generous. Me and my husband ordered the Titanic and the Love Boat, and we definitely underestimated the size of them, we usually eat a lot and we couldn't finish our dishes. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because I think their menu is a bit cliche, there aren't many creative options (most items you can find in any other sushi restaurants) and they were out of all beers the day we went. Other than that this is one of the best in town for sure.
I have been a customer at Wasabi for years. After placing a $80 takeout order I asked for a side of hot oil. They charged me an extra 50 cents. They made me walk out to my car to get the money instead of just giving me the 50 cent oil. Absolutely never coming back.
The food was good. My steak was underdone. The waiter was amazing- super friendly and helpful. And our food came very fast.
I loved the wasabi in Buffalo, and only discovered this location close to our new house. It didn't disappoint, still great
This is my go-to sushi place.If you’re looking for high end sushi, look else. If you’re looking for good sushi at reasonable prices, this is for you. I especially think there lunch box specials are well worth the price.The staff is usually friendly and helpful. The decor is not too out of date and the place is well maintained.The my favorite part about this restaurant is that their takeout is just as good as their dine-in. Usually takeout is subpar, not as generous with portions, smashed oni to-go containers, and presented unappealing. Not the case here. Thank you!
just picked up the titanic for date night for the wife and I. Everything was so fresh, put together great and just made our night. great staff and the chefs never ever disappoint!!!
Dinner last night was excellent. Despite the fact that the restaurant was quite busy, food came out promptly and service was great. Highly recommend the Maui, Spicy Family or Wasabi Lobster rolls.
A for effort, I guess?There is no reason that anyone can't open a sushi bar. You do not have to be Japanese to open a sushi bar. The employees here were speaking mandarin. While that isn't unusual you should at least learn some Japanese terms that are important to taking a sushi order. At the very least they should have learned what the English equivalent of that word. Uni with uzura is not a complicated order not is it uncommon. Still the uni was fresh. The server was attentive but seemed to be in a rush despite us being the only customers at the start of our meal.The TLDR: The food was good but the service was odd.
Went for lunch. Very polite attentive waitress. Food was amazing and at a great price. Definitely will return!!
