I went there ...bcause I was trying to support...black restaurant week & they were participating & I've never been there b4...I ended up paying full price for some ribs & sides ...they sid not have a $20.22 special...or ...if they did ...it was not advertised...I was & am ...alittle disappointed...mayb that's what I get for trying to support...blk owned ?
Great Venue & Atmosphere :
A large group of family accompanied me to First Friday's. What a awesome time! The Beautiful Music Band featuring Willie Johnson, Dj Coffee took us back to true R&B. The adult atmosphere, great soulfood, & excellent customer service provided my family with a memorable evening. They are planning to book the Grub n Groove for future events, let alone being at every First Friday's.
Drink pours ok but the food is now disgusting! I ordered the surf and turf box; it came with a few rocks of what was supposed to be tidbits and 2 chicken fingers and crinkle cut fries! I didnt even finish it! Hard pass!
brought one of my bumble dates here a few months ago and she smelt so they through us out. She was holding my expensive soaps. We made out in the bathroom and i drop a duce and left it.
