Perfection! Can’t say enough good things about our experience!! My sister and her family live in NYC and are visiting. Her birthday is next week and we celebrated at the Bijou, tonight. There were 14 of us, ranging in age from 5 to 79 years and there was something for everyone! Every one of us loved our meal! The staff put up with us taking many family photos to commemorate the occasion and even took a few of the whole family! The atmosphere, the service, and the food are definitely worth writing home (or Google) about!
Did not actually eat there. It was before a show we were going to and we needed to kill some time so we walked in and had a drink. Everyone was very nice. Menu looked very good

Great restaurant and bar near the theater area. Good spot for before and after drinks.
Absolutely delicious food and drinks. The crab cake appetizer was properly spicy and the French martini and the butternut squash ravioli were actually heavenly. The night we went they had 2 staff call off so they were pretty behind and struggling to keep up, but the servers were super apologetic and genuinely tried their best. Would love to go again when they’re a little less swamped.
Loved it but didn't know you have to make reservations luckily someone had to leave and gave us their spot
This is the second time I’ve been to this place and it was absolutely unprofessional. Let’s start off with the host who’s supposed to greet people at the door, but decides to talk to and hug friends who are there instead of doing her job. Or just getting in the way of everyone else. She was at the bar talking to the bartender then at the waitress stand giving them all these comments why they need to hurry tables along because there are other people there with reservations. That’s absolutely ridiculous that she was talking to staff like that in front of patrons. Then when someone would walk in and she wasn’t there, they would walk inside and she would chase them down screaming show me your vaccination card. A host needs to stay near where people are coming in and act professional as a greeter. Not going all over the restaurant talking to people and bossing people around. She was the most unprofessional host I’ve ever seen!! You don’t yell at customers, you don’t talk rudely around customers and you certainly don’t rush people out who’ve only been there for an hour. You want people to come back to this establishment! I called to make reservations and not once did the person taking the reservations mention to us that we couldn’t split the check. If they would have let us know when we made the reservation, everyone could have brought cash. Now let’s get to the snotty waitressing staff. I asked her a simple question and he response was well this is the theater district because it was a price question. I’ve been to much better restaurants with much better food who don’t treat their customers this bad! Lastly their food was just ok! They advertise food as one thing but you barely get what it was advertised as. A brisket burger with jam was a burger with the littlest amount of jam and flavor! The free starter bread should have been saved to give the wildlife because it was hard and bland! Don’t waste your time or money here. You’ll pay high prices for subpar food, and sit at sticky tables with horrible staff who think they are better then you. Avoid this place at all cost unless that’s the type of atmosphere you’re looking for.
Excellent food, great service, convenient for Shea’s. Currently taking reservations and requiring proof of vaccination. The horseradish crusted salmon is amazing if you like horseradish.
Vaccination required. Very polite and welcoming when making reservations via phone and upon arrival and while dining in. Even though they were booked solid on theater night, the food was good, friendly staff, and a great experience.
Let me tell you! My best friend and I braved the winds to come out for our reservation! Tonight was a girls night and it was amazing! From walking in to Bijou Grille to being greeted by the owner and seated! The atmosphere feels like a chic Christmas with the Bougie drink menu… I personally love the French Martini with notes of pineapple and vanilla vodka. Kristen our server was amazing with recommendations for both food and drink. We had the lobster ravioli and it was filling for 2 with the Caesar salad. The next time we come out to the Theater district we will hands down come out to Bijou grille. I can not say enough nice things about this place.
