First good Japanese food I’ve had in Buffalo in the 3 years I’ve lived here. Food was fresh. Portions were good. Service was great and most importantly they had no problems accommodating my vegetarian family members request on what changes in ingredient they would like, or how to they would like their meal cooked. In fact, they have vegan and gluten free options on their menu.Added BONUS they have parking!!!Definitely will return.
The food was horrible... we didn't want to send it back but we did tell the waitress... the sushi was warm and slimy and I was worried I would be sick if I ate it. The waitress apologized but nothing else was done. No offer of a new meal or any discount... very disappointing. I would not recommend... and would not go back.
Everything was delicious! Quality.. presentation.. service...all excellent!!
The red curry chicken or pork is my go to at this spot. Not really a genuine thai restaurant but you can't go wrong with this dish.
Visited 5/5/22Place was clean, nice area. Empty when we arrived. We ordered the Thai Coconut Noodle soup, Amigos Sushi roll and Philly roll. This place is just ok, don’t recommend. Thanks
The food is amazing! The one thing I really like about this place is that their menu is ACTUALLY authentic and not too westernized. It's also not super easy finding a Japanese restaurant that also has sake on the menu, but they do here and it was pretty good. The sushi is really pretty top notch, my favorite being Kiss of the Spider Woman which is soft shell crab based. And they actually give you a good portion of the sushi which is sweet. Try the Yakisoba as well, really amazing stuff. We also had Thai Sticky Rice for desert and it was my first time trying it and I really struggled not to order some more to go haha, the word "delicious" doesn't doesn't do it justice. The workers are very nice and polite too, yeah the place might be a little pricey but it's well worth it, and more filling than you expect.
The miso soup was full of silky tofu cubes and seaweed. The mixed greens salad was generous, as were the size of the rolls and negiri sushi. The menu mentions fugu (blowfish) if you order ahead: About $150 for two. (You're supposed to get just enough poison that your lips tingle; too much, and the nerves enervating your diaphragm are paralyzed. You strangle to death, completely concious. As the poison is colorless and tasteless, even the master chefs occasionally make mistakes. Caveat emptor.)This would be a good place for a first date. There's a cheerful mural the length of one wall of koi; another mural is an ingenue with a yakuza-style dragon tattoo on her back. A full bar supplies the varied drink menu. If you order green tea, your mug comes with a Lipton teabag in it. The lighting fixtures are beautiful, the bathrooms are gorgeous and spotless. We ordered a green dragon roll, a California roll, and omakase sushi. Everything was beautifully prepared and well presented. When we complemented the waitress on the extensive list of sushi (smoked salmon, mackerel, omelet), she said the sister store near the airport had even more types. We plan to explore this!
Great vegan menu! I love all the noodle options. My mom loved beef noodle soup. Rich and delicious broth. Everything came out quickly and the staff is very nice!
Would of loved to give it a 5 star but I just couldn't...Loves!Food is very good. We had 4 different sushis and 2 apps and a soup. Everything tasted delicious. The waitress was sooooo sweet to us. We were the only ones there and I had my one month old. Needless to say he ended up getting sick all over me and himself. She seen and rushed over some napkins which she didn't have to do and she was very understanding. Her kindness alone would make me come backNow the dislikes...not hates...The soft drinks are not free refills. You have to pay for each one you get which I've never experienced at a restaurant/kitchen.The decor and environment is lacking. No color or love. Wish it had more of a authentic feeling. The floors were not very clean possibly from the snow and salt outside.
Great service, wide selection, and excellent sushi. We tried the garden salad, green curry fried rice, and sushi sampler. Teton has some cut of fish that are hard to find elsewhere, like uni. Sushi was excellent quality and portions were generous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
