I've always liked Tappo, the food is great, never had any problems! But earlier today I went with a friend for dinner on the rooftop & roughly 15 minutes after finishing our meals, the bus boy asked us to leave because they were busy & needed our table. It was shocking, we ordered 3 drinks total, an app, 2 meals, over $100 for our bill. And still, 15 minutes after finishing the meal - we were asked to leave! In total, we were at the restaurant less than an hour & 1/2. I hadn't even finished my drink. If this is now standard procedure, can't say I'll return back.

My first time in Buffalo and I’m quite a foodie. A Sicilian with a taste for the best Italian. Well let me tell you, the food is fabulously delicious! and we were absolutely marveled by the incredible service from our waitress Jessica! Best night on my two week stay! Thank you Jess for incredible service and Tappo for a brilliant meal!!! The chicken Milanese, stuffed peppers and shrimp risotto, RIP!!!

Great pasta dishes outdoor dining was very scenic service was fast and courteous good time

portions are generous, food is good, atmosphere is nice, wait staff are solid. this is the kind of place that would be great for a date, a get together with friends, or even a family dinner with kids. i can't find many negative things to say here other than it's just a tad pricey, but that's kind of expected with places like this.

Everytime we visit, we're at least a party of 6-7. Most of their entres are quite palatable and the portion is okay for the price paid. Really good garlic bread! Waiter will always make sure the custom order is made right. Evenings are quite busy and takes a lot of time to get drinks as well as food. Just wine takes (party of 8) 15 minutes. Food takes around 25 min, which is a lot comaped to the 20% + additional tip paid. (~$120).Check Outdoor seating and book ahead of time for groups.

Food was awesome as always! Our server was great! However, myself and my girlfriend arrived to the restaurant for our reservation a bit early and were sat right away (which is great) we then wait 25 minutes before a server came to our table and there was no music on during our entire 2hr dinner while the tables next to us received water upon being sat by the hostess we did not. While our server turned the experience around staff seemed very unprepared for what looked like a fairly slow evening. I have never had a poor experience at Tappo I absolutely love this place and will come back.

I've dined in the igloos at Tappo twice now as of this evening. The first time I was a guest of someone elses, this time around I booked it for my partner and myself for his birthday. The booking process was so easy, I appreciated how helpful the person in charge of reservations was. I was able to choose the menu ahead of time and still add on another appetizer tonight when we arrived. The price is surprisingly cheap for everything that's included for just two people and the food is absolutely incredible. The portions are so generous. Our server, Alisa, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us. The entire experience from start to finish was just wonderful. We can't wait to come back and try the regular menu downstairs. Thank you, Tappo, for a really fun evening!

Did the rooftop igloos. Was very nice. Food was good. We were able to play our own music. Was a little cold but overall great experience. Family style dishes. Spiked cocoa was great.

Hip atmosphere with good food. We went on a Friday night with reservations and it was absolutely packed. Took a while to get a drink and even longer to get food, but the waitress was really friendly. I got the cheese tortellini with shrimp and it cost $26. I liked that they had NA beer choices (dry january).
