Wow! I've been doing myself a huge disservice eating subs from johns and jacobis all these years. This was hands down the best chicken finger sub I've ever tried! And mimicking other peoples comments idk y ppl think this guy is rude. He seems more like a jokester to me. The pic of him in one review is what actually made me go in , along with sooooo many people on Facebook raving about the subs (so to the guy trying to steer business away - it didn't work bud!) I have been hearing about this place for years and little did I know it has been tucked away in the corner for all these years a few blocks from my house. Try it u will not be disappointed!

Best subs ever! The Turkey club is loaded with crumbled bacon and the chicken finger sub is the best that I have had. Call ahead for the best subs with the best prices around. I’ve told friends about tailgate deli and they loved it as well!
First time customer and I will be returning!!!I called in my order; ordered a half sub combo, Cajun turkey club with swiss, includes a can of soda and a bag of chips or a cookie. Dude said 10 minutes and it was ready in 10 minutes. The guy running the shop was cool and polite. Total was $10.06 for the combo and it was well worth it. The sub was delicious and perfectly made on a toasted Costanzo sub roll. Everything tasted great!! No complaints or gripes.

Called ahead ordered 5 subs hot and coldall were delicious . Order was ready at time promised. Very happy would recommend.
We used to order here......NEVER again!! Todd the owner is rude to his customers. I tried to place an order for pick up at 6pm. He said latest pick up is 5:30. I said ok then we will not be ordering tonight then (It wouldn't fit into our plans for this night). He said I was weird and called me an a-hole!!! Really!!! I called him back to call him out on it and he answered the phone"What a half hour makes that much of a difference" I said did you just call me an a-hole? He said yes and hung up on me!!
Everyone is posting about the owner, but you don't understand this is a 1 person shop. Sorry the red carpet isn't rolled out for you Karen, but the food is damn good. Maybe you're all being hangry, but this place is a diamond in a strip mall.
