Wanted to publicly thank Amanda & staff at the Swan Street Diner for their hospitality. Born & raised in Buffalo, but currently living in Chicago. When l was planning photo destinations for my wedding this past weekend, I thought of Swan Street Diner as a photo destination. Amanda was so kind to plan with, and all the staff was so friendly when we came in. We understood they were closing up for the day, but they made sure we had our order ready, counter clean, and again just SO nice!!!! we ordered 2 milkshakes and fries as well, which was perfect because we actually enjoyed them as a snack and they were delicious. Thank you to everyone who made our wedding day a little bit more unique and special. Can’t wait to come back for brunch!
This is the best place, hands down, no debate. Go here. Fantastic food, fantastic people, fantastic location, fantastic building, everything is basically my dream eatery. Thank you. Plus they gave us donuts to try… I’m obsessed ?
Today was my second time ever at this place! Both times the service was good. The food was good but not spectacular both times for me but both times I came with a friend and both friends thought the food was amazing! The first time I tried their vegan lemon poppy waffle. This second time I got their Buttermilk pancake with a side of home fries. The pancake was good but the home fries was quite oily. With that said, both time my friends enjoyed what they got. This second time, my friend got their vegan tempeh BLT sandwich and lemon poppy waffle. My friend absolutely loved both things! Also, their mini donuts are to die for!
Great place. There was roughly an hour wait when we showed up but it was the prime time of day to eat. The facility (as well as it's facilities) are spotless and beautiful. Great decor that's time relevant but with a very slight twist of modernization. The staff and patrons were all extremely pleasant and kind. The staff had a great sense of fun and humor.. it's clear they all enjoy their jobs. The food... Excellent. Outstanding. Homemade jam, delicious. The locally sourced coffee is good but not great. Not noisy at all, in fact a great atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying oneself. Lots of history involved with this diner and the china they use, if you're into that sort of thing. Pretty much everything is homemade, including squeezing their own juices.I'll be back.
Stopped by for breakfast it was really good the service was great even though it was packed had to wait 15 mins to sit but it was worth it we highly recommend trying this little diner when your in the city!!!
Great place! Visiting from Ontario, will recommend to friends for sure!

We were traveling thru & stopped here for breakfast. It was absolutely delicious, an excellent choice. Food was so good, the service was great & friendly & it was a pretty cool environment, also clean. Highly recommend. Great job, guys!
What a lovely place! So cute and cheery. The food was so good. Very friendly staff. Clean and organized. We'll definitely be back!
Decent spot for breakfast! Limited seating inside, so if you go on a weekend, expect to wait. $11 for an omelet with home fries and toast, $3 for a coffee. Nice vibe and friendly staff.
