Beers were top notch, but food was just alright. Was stoked to try the pumpking chicken pot pie, and yet there was no hint of the pumpkin-forward beer in the dish. Didn’t meet my expectations sadly.
The menu has a lot of interesting food items. I thought the avocado mint margarita was surprisingly tasty. Their vodka is not as good as Tito’s in my opinion. Plenty of room and a sensory overload of television.
My first visit to Southern Tier was two months ago and it was a great experience. Both the food and service were good. I went again last night and the food was awful. We ordered the smoked chicken nachos and they were disgusting. The chicken was not smoked but rather tasted like boiled, unseasoned chicken…awful. We also ordered the carnitas and the pork was not smoked or seasoned and was completely flavorless. Sadly, the best thing about our meal was the French fries and beer. Our bill was $92..a total waste of money. This was probably the worst meal we have ever had at a local restaurant.
We just love this place! The staff is all so friendly, the food is delicious, and the drink options are endless.My favorite entrée is the fried chicken sandwich, but if they have a seasonal special, you have to try it out! I recently had their butternut squash cheese dip and I fell in love. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
I was a little sad to see 716 go but it ended up in really good hands. They had such a chill atmosphere, played amazing music (at one point they played Neutral Milk Hotel, whoever makes their playlist deserves a raise lol) and the food was awesome. Get the butternut squash cheese dip, it's unreal. We ended up getting fights because there were so many beers we wanted to try and really enjoyed them all. The hot coca stout and the cold brew pumpking were the top two I tried. Will definitely be back.
it was our first time here, my wife and I both ordered the big buf Burger with french fries.
The service and atmosphere were great but the food was really just not good...almost every item on the menu is made with beer which may appeal to some but can be a concern for people with health concerns. We had a burger with a side salad and a beef on wick (without the beer based au jus) and fries. The salad was fresh and crisp but the burger was burned. The fries were not salted and there was no salt on the table. The beef on wick apparently depends on the au jus for any flavor at all..I ended up putting ketchup on it to make it more edible. We love Buffalo food but STB does not represent the best of Buffalo!
Very large craft beer brewpub with awesome beer from a large beer list of all types. Food is just amazing with a very creative menu. Staff is great, very friendly and knowledgeable with the beer and food menus. Massive screen TV over the lower bar for watching sports. All in all, a really good experience at Southern Tier Buffalo
Had an amazing time at Southerntier this past Sunday for the Bills game! Staff was nice, engaging, and efficient. Dan took care of us and was on top of all our food and drink needs without hesitation even with our larger party. I loved the hard seltzer flavors and the wings were delicious! I’ll definitely be back soon!
I have one word to describe my experience. Disappointing. Came for the Bills-Jets game and the largest TV in the place isn't working. Food is just average, the servers and bartender were nice enough but there was only one person behind a bar to serve 30 patrons. Honestly if it weren't for the staff being friendly this rating would be worse. Can't watch other football games relative to Buffalo's playoff seeding because they don't have the right TV package and can only show a game on the west coast that I can almost guarantee no one here cared about. There's cold air blowing around and causing patrons to complain. You can only get STBC products at the bar so already you've carved out a niche for customers that really doesn't need to exist. A place like this should sell itself and STBC looks to be the second owners to fail to realize what would make a place like this popular. Likely won't return which is sad because I was looking forward to coming since Southern Tier announced they had bought the restaurant. Like I said, just an all-around disappointment.
