Mostly do take out drive in. Very good food and ice cream. Not many selections on the ice cream but overall really good. Food does come out fast unlike other drive thrus that is actually not “fast food”. Great customer service. And they really come out on roller blades with your food it’s awesome. Haven’t ate on the inside yet. But when I usually do go it’s not crowded.
Received an offer on the big Dill a cheeseburger with pickles dill ranch lettuce on a brioche bun. I added jalapeño peppers that enhanced the sandwich taste with heat. It also came with pickle fries which I have not yet seen before but unfortunately I was not impressed with the pickle fries or the sandwich for that matter. The cheeseburger had a thin burger patty that seemed like it was overcooked. The pickle fries are pieces of pickle battered and deep fried I am not a fan but I was informed it is a favorite appetizer in other places.
Horrible went today and was trying to order good it seemed like the lady taking my order didn't know what she was doing at all at one point asl how do you make that. So I just canceled the food order and ordered a drink and she seems not to know what to do. I have no idea if she was new or still in training but the fact that no one was there to help her and it was almost lunch time is nuts.
Burger looked as if someone sat on it, but it tasted ok. Onion rings were great! Shakes were good, and the staff was pleasant and friendly.
Drove from Mississauga Ontario to this Sonic to try the burgers for the first time, super impressed. We used the cool drive up, we don't have places like this. lol. I didn't really think they would deliver our food on skates but, they did.(so cool) Super impressed by the service (our server was so nice) and the food was AWESOME! thanks for the memorable experience, we will back very soon.
Amending my post from earlier. Someone left their delivery box on an empty table and the staff got confused and delivered it to the empty table. They apologized afterwards and brought me out 10 Sonic bucks to make up for it. I found out about a half hour later as I was eating the made up order when I looked over at an "abandoned" order on an empty table.Just rating it 4 stars because when we walked in, there was no one at the counter and we had to wait a couple of minutesOther than that everything is good.
Nostalgic Yes, food Tasted Fake Salty Unreal ( Like a wax ) , Shake was going good for a quarter of it--- the rest tasted like Raw sugar, the meat sauce on the hot dog was very blend, They forgot a few things on our order plus straws plus napkins, NEEDS a Real MANAGER, my wife my son and his girlfriend has been sick for days. . . .... Too quick to Open / or just JUNK 2 begin with !!!
This is my first time going to sonic. I was able to order online through my phone. It was very easy. The person who brought out my food was very nice. I like how it's literally like a drive-in.
Food service was amazing. And very reasonably priced. Got chicken sandwich, double Hesse urgent, Chicago hot dog, ff, onion rings, and 2 sodas for $22.
The #2 double cheeseburger is the best!!! Blows the other chain competitors on Elmwood out of the water. Sorry to hear other reviewers had bad experiences and hope Sonic pays close attention to them. Because over all the food is really good. So good that I am actually writing a review...which I rarely do.
