We just left Slice of NY and will be back again!Clean and friendly place - good food and good service.Ordered a Philly Steak pizza and can't wait to get home and try it. It smells AMAZING!Grabbed slices while there if you like thin crust and gooey stringy cheese highly suggest this location!Went home tried the Philly steak was happy with this as well!My daughter liked the fact that it had red sauce instead of the garlic sauce most places have.Thank you Slice of NY - we weren't disappointed!
Recently I was recommended to checkout this place because the quality of the pizza was A1. I was skeptical at first because I have been disappointed too many times by other’s pizza recommendations in Buffalo, but I gave it a try anyway. Little did I know that the pizza shop was once a full-blown shawarma shop that I visited years back! Aside from being familiar with the place, I had the opportunity to meet the owner- very nice guy! He goes above and beyond to give the best customer service offers a bright welcome as soon as you pass through the doors. Although the restaurant is small, it’s the place perfect to stop for a bite to eat with some friends. There’s window seating that’s faces Hertel Ave - which is my favorite- as well other seating areas. The ambiance is warm and full of Buffalo pride, and the pizza is AMAZING! This pizza, in my own person pizza loving opinion, is the closet thing to NY Style pizza if you are a fan of thin crust. My favorite so far is pepperoni! The dessert is tasty too if you enjoy homemade baklava.I think the best part about this place is that not only do they have great pizza and customer service, they have continued to offer other food items like shawarma and samosas. The chicken samosa is DELICIOUS- a must try for sure!Overall this place is great and I highly recommend!
The food was outstanding and extremely delicious. I had the veggie pizza and it was very flavorful! My husband had the Italian Stromboli and was very impressed. We also tried the chicken sambosa which was so good. It reminded me of an empanada. The baklava has the perfect amount of sweetness and is not chewy. I highly recommend this place!!
The pizza was just as amazing as the hospitality! Mosen recommend the sambosa, baklava, and the chicken pizza! This was my first slice in NY and let me tell you is a mouth watering warm filling experience! Hers my girl with her first bite and that’s the last time we saw the slice again!
Loved the chicken shawarma combo I got, I noticed right away the freshness of the ingredients used. I particularly liked the sauce in the shawarma wrap. Great prices too! The restaurant is very clean and staff was both friendly and helpful. Will be back soon!
Yesterday my husband Rob and I got to try this place, and I have to say it’s the absolute BEST pizza I’ve ever had! The man that made the pizza was very friendly. I suggest if your around there you must stop by and grab a pie! Thank you Molson and if we are ever back I guarantee we will be in.
I live in Rochester but occasionally I come to Buffalo for a grocery shopping and whenever I’m in Buffalo I make sure to visit this place for Authentic chicken Shawrma and Stromboli. Fresh ingredients, great service and delicious food. Noah is great and the owner is super nice
Was here for a bite to eat on Easter! The people working there couldn't have been nicer.I ended up getting the Shwarma sandwich combo which was a great deal at the price and the food was even better!My dad got the Shwarma platter which even looked more delicious and had different things added on.Can't wait to try the pizza here, but highly recommend!
This place has the best shawarma, the best Stromboli and the best pizza!!! The food here is fresh and very well made, the quality of the ingredients they use is amazing. Its a small place but very cozy and has a good vibe. Its very clean and well maintained. The staff is always amazing and very helpful. The service time is very fast, you get your food pretty quickly. Would comeback here to have their shawarma and Stromboli any day. Its very easy to find and it’s located in the best neighbourhood i.e. Hertel Avenue. The shawarma was authentic and made to perfection. It comes with a side of pickles and was 7$. It’s cheap and best, it’s worth every penny you spend. The Stromboli is so fresh, every bite is a tasty delight, the dip you get with it is delicious. You can’t stop eating it. The quantity is really good for the money that you spend. You’ll never go home unsatisfied, the Stromboli is priced 7$ too. You get both of them in a combo meal as well. They even had the famous sweet, bakalva which was 1$ per piece but I couldn’t try it this time. In my next visit I’ll make sure to try new items for sure. 10/10 recommend this place. I'm from Brooklyn and miss NY style pizza. I'm so happy they opened up here. I also love the chicken shawarma. Have had the platter and sandwich. My go-to Sunday lunch.
