i ordered the lotus wrapped sticky rice and it came with a bunch of stuff in it the menu didn’t specify like mushrooms and shrimpIt’s also not homemade when I called to ask about the mysterious filling the man on the phone said he had to “check the bag”.really gross and makes me wonder what the heck is in other dishes

My favorite place for Chinese food! I order from here most every week. I've lived in Buffalo for the past nine years and I've ordered from many different restaurants but this location has been the most consistent overall. Generous portions, some unique items, and always delicious. The restaurant is bright and clean, and they often have my order ready in less than 30 minutes. I really can't say enough good things about Sesame House. Check it out.

Food was amazing and service was friendly and polite.

I'm trying to find a good Chinese place in the getzville Amherst area this is the only place I found so far that is any good it's not fantastic but it's the best I found

Great food and prices

Amazing food! We had the sesame chicken (which was nice and plump white meat, not that over-fried chewy stuff you get elsewhere), plain lo mein, and wonton soup. Everything came packed nicely (the white rice even had a pretty little "thank you" sticker holding it closed!) and was delicious... even with picky kids! They include complimentary crunchy noodle things, plenty of duck sauce/mustard/soy sauce, fortune cookies, and we were surprised (and delighted) with two fried shrimp vegetable rolls, too! I can't believe we've never been to Sesame House before, as we live close by, but we know where we will be going in the future. Especially as we are a large family and their prices are very reasonable as compared to other establishments in the area. Thank you! :)

UPDATE4: They no longer seem to have online ordering, which is a huge shame. :(UPDATE3: I visited here again and the owner had seen my review and personally apologized for the wrong food order previously. It really wasn't that big of a deal but I appreciate that they take the time and actually try to correct their mistakes unlike some other restaurants. I hope they continue to offer stellar service because they are my favorite in the area. Bumped them back up to a 5-star.UPDATE2: 4-starLast time I went here they had messed up the order. Now again I ordered from here and received Chicken Noodle Soup instead of Chicken Rice Soup and no Fortune Cookie. How will I ever know my fortune?! Unacceptable.I'm a huge fan of Chinese and this is one of my favorite places to go. They have the good crunchy soup noodles where most places just serve those rice noodles, excellent (actually flavorful) wonton soup, and great pricing for their lunch special. Overall my 2nd or 3rd favorite place in the area! Plus the staff when picking up your order are always extremely nice and outgoing. My only complaint is that for takout orders they don't give you silverware in the bag, so you have to remember to grab it on the way out.

I have really like this restaurant for a few months, but since a few months is the food really not good anymore... i have would give a shot today and it was really not eatable.I had orange chicken and sesame chicken, the chicken was dry, weird to eat, almost no sauce, no taste at all and the brown rice was dry like sand...Sorry but that's was for me
