Food is delicious Owner is a Living Legend amongst us!... u may have to wait a little more than usual sometimes but it's home-cooked food not fast food so understand that...with that said you will love it just make sure they understand how you want your food...no mis-understandings!? ??
Would give a one just for service alone. No one EVER answers the phone and then when you go inside the server/order taker has an attitude??? The food wasn't that great to go thru all that, the fish was dry and the sides mediocre. Don't waste your time
This place is very unprofessional. They never answer the phone. And if they do, they keep you on hold for over 15 minutes. Close BEFORE the time they’re suppose to close and don’t even let it be know. With their door WIDE OPEN. Food ain’t that great with terrible customer service
When I say fresh fish, the food is amazing everything is fresh, food perfectly seasoned , great portion size worth the money great customer service.
Great food, but watched them deny a lady her food she called in, in advance because she wanted to pay EBT instead of cash, and tried to give the order, she ordered, which was no longer fresh to others that came in. Rather she called early or not she was going to pay. It was petty to make her reorder and wait 30 mins for her order that was ready on the counter. Didn't like that, done patronizing them.
Ordered for a pick up. Waited the original 40 minutes, went inside to pick up and had to wait an additional 30. Over an hour total in wait time. Immediately went home and the food was cold. This is despite them handing it to me "fresh, nice and hot" (their words). Extremely disappointed and will never be going back there again. They fell off. Not worth the money or time spent.
Put in a DoorDash order and I got the worst delivery I ever had from Pine Hill the fish was not fully cooked and my sides was nothing of what I asked for they didn’t even bother to put the sides in in the ingredients that’s supposed to go with the fish there were none
I ordered catfish , which was a little mushy. It was a disappointment. Sometimes the fish is great, but today, not so. It will be awhile before I visit again.
Good fish could have better option for sides on fish dinners
For many years when I lived in Buffalo Pinehill had the best fish in Buffalo and it still is I came in-and-out for a for a funeral and had a Haddock shrimp combo and it was delicious. And I also got 2 pieces of catfish for my wife and it also was very good The prices have went up a lot since I've been gone 7 years but I guess that's inflation but it was delicious. $31 for 2 pieces of Catfish in a Haddock shrimp combo.
