I ate at Phovana with my 11 year old daughter and her friend. We all loved the food and drinks and the service was great too. Highly recommended.
Great Vietnamese food in large portion. They also have vegetarian and beef broth which is great. Friendly staff. Must come when you are in town.
While the front line staff may not be Vietnamese, the food is authentic, tasty and the portions are huge. During lunch the tv is always on loud but you can ask them to turn it down and they will. Food is delivered quickly. They have a new guy but he did fine. The lady has been there a long time and knows what she’s doing.
We came in at 8:30 pm when they closed at 9:30 pm and the waitress asked if we were dining in. So we said yes and she said “we close in an hour you can sit here” Ummm ive worked in the food industry for my entire working life and have NEVER told a customer that we close in an hour. I just thought she was rude for no reason and obviously unhappy. ive been a waitress for years, and i wouldnt care unless someone came in like 15 min before close. However, I am not surprised because I picked up takeout from here one time and she was rude then too lol. Then i asked for fresh chili garlic sauce bc they only gave us packets and she said they dont have any. Girl i KNOW you have fresh chili sauce this is literally a hot pot place. The pho sucked too idk i shoulda stuck with 99 Fast Food
Please stop using styrofoam to package your broth!!! Our broth comes melted and pouring into our takeout bag. This has happened to us numerous times when we order DoorDash. Hot things should NEVER be put in styrofoam. It literally melts and then the broth is contaminated with chemicals/toxins. Not to mention there’s now a ban on styrofoam use for food in NY. We love your food so much but I won’t be ordering again until you switch to plastic containers.
